Thank you, looks delicious, never thought about putting the butter in with the water, salt an sugar.Great idea. Cant wait to fix mine that way for Sunday dinner. God Bless you.
Thank u Georgia cooking for the soul I will let u know how it went sometime this month. I just love eating a lot of corn on the cob during the fall season & sweet potato too!
I soaked mine in warm dissolved sugar water for 20mins before boiling and added butter and it was FANTASTIC. I used fresh corn also bc they were .33 cents and also I usually cannot digest corn but prepping it first and then cooking helps me out a lot. Thanks again
I started learning to cook at 4 standing on a chair at the stove counter etc.. love to.see women still.cook just found your videos will watch all love it
I can't wait until we have fresh corn on the cob again and good watermelon! this past summer I ate two seedless watermelons per week. :-) I couldn't eat the corn on the cob because I need to get dental implants.
15 minutes should be good. But you could go longer, because it's delicious to me if it sits in the water a while to get all the favor soaked into it. Thank You!
So water doesn't need to be boiling to add corn as long as water is seasoned? How do I know when corn is ready and not too soft? Sorry for dumb questions but I am really ignorant when it comes to cooking
When I boil for just 10-15 the ear is still hard and not soft but other videos say boil for over an hour to 1 hour and 25 minutes. What’s the happy medium since if you cook it too long then it dries out? Thanks
You will need to fill your pot all the way up to the corn. I think you should start with 3 Tbsp sugar and 1 Tbsp salt, taste water and check if that's the taste you want, make adjustments.
@@georgiacookingforthesoul it came out amazing and delicious. My husband loved it too. Thank you so much for this recipe. Every time i make corn this is how I’m making it ♥️♥️
I don't know what really happened but 15 or 20 minutes not to long to cook corn. That's why I said it doesn't take long. I think something were wrong with your corn from the beginning.
It doesn't take corn long to cook look for the change in color it may become a little darker. But the best way is to cook 10 to 15 minutes and enjoy. That's all to it.
Hell! Don't get nasty with me because I don't have to tell you anything. I do this to teach the people who can't cook learn how to cook, but you need to know how to ask . Cook about 15 minutes.
Yo mammy should of taught you how to cook. It didn’t say how to boil corn. It said the best way. So you outta know how to cook it yet this is titled the best way according to her
in my opinion corn tastes perfectly fine, and delicious by itself! no need to ruin it, in my opinion, with extra salt sugar or butter! to each there own though, of course!
