Hi! Just a friendly reminder that this video is OLD. I made a revised version HERE: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Mlk4hzSj7us.html ALSO ALSO ALSO --> I made an actually good video recently that's really funny! Please check it out if you have the time: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-FptJc_QCWrc.html A few important notes: 1. Tuna is capable of clearing Floor 12 of Spiral Abyss consistently. That's about 33-36 stars from Abyssal Spire every cycle, or about 550-600 primogems. If exploration really isn't cutting it, Spiral Abyss performance is probably what's holding you back. 2. Remember to use Elemental Sight! It's one of the most useful abilities you have for exploration. Using it allows you to see interactable objects better, as well as trace where Seelies are from checking their courts. 3. Also, if you're struggling with exploration (even with interactive maps), I'd suggest doing some Reputation quests and getting the regional treasure compasses. They help a ton for finding the more obscurely positioned chests on the map. 4. I did exaggerate a little bit when I made the title. While it's true that Tuna obtained his 81 fates in 3 days, a total of about 11 were obtained from the Paimon's Bargains shop and leftover primogems. Still, that's about 70 fates (11,200 primogems) in 3 days for an AR 56 F2P, from exploration, achievements, and Spiral. That's still huge. 5. As far as I'm aware, Inazuma has two locations that reset daily for primogems. One is the Asase Shrine, where you can talk to Neko and get daily quests. Another is the "Outsider Shrine" which you can do everyday for a chest that grants a couple primos. If you don't know what these are, please look them up. They run out of uses after enough times but it's still extra primogems. 6. Lastly, I see a lot of people mention that "I left out Daily Commissions" and other stuff like that, but you guys need to remember that this guide is for clutching characters at the last second. A week's worth of Daily Comissions can only earn you 420 primogems, but Spiral Abyss + Exploration + Events will give you 10x that amount, if not more, depending on what Version was just released. FOR ENDGAME PLAYERS: The comments section is also flooded with late game players complaning about having "100% exploration already." While I apologize for the accidental clickbait, please remember that this video is a little old. Version 2.1 of Genshin had recently released at the time of me making this video, providing additional content for endgame players as well as the perfect opportunity to get primogems at the time. (Hence the exaggerated title and Raiden Shogun thumbnail.) As we all know however, major updates like these are quite rare, so unfortunately for endgame players, you'll just have to be patient and wait until new regions come out, so you have another opportunity to farm gems. I also have some other primogem alternatives at the end of the video and in the tips mentioned above, so don't forget to watch through the whole thing in case you missed something.
Can you stop making weird comments about the female characters in the game. Watching your videos would feel less like toleration, if you kept that out.
Tbh doing this to Dragonspine is what got me enough primos for Eula. Sadly there was a glitch when I got her and she came out with red hair and a pyro vision.
@@ScottieYanes Yeah I tried the same thing but it happened to Albedo instead, plus my first bennett actually ended up having red hair and a cryo vision, but then I clutched him at the last second with his c1 at the end of albedo’s banner and it actually let me have him this time
For those who don’t know, Inazuma actually gives way more primos than Liyue because of the primo-to-chest ratio. In Inazuma, common chest = 2 primos, exquisite chest = 5 primos, precious/luxurious chest = 10 primos. But in Liyue, common chests don’t give you primos, exquisite = 2 primos, precious = 5, and luxurious = 10. So prioritizing Inazuma over Liyue is actually the way to go.
Thats true but theres also a part in liyue west of the harbour (i believe its called Lisha) that basically gives the same primo-to-chest ratio as inazuma and dragonspine :D
In case anyone needs help assembling an exploration team, look at passive talents. I use Sayu (super fast) Kaeya (sprinting speed boost) Amber (gliding stamina consumption boost) and Yanfei or Gorou (cuz they help locate objects). Hope this helps!
I usually try to max my stamina efficiency. So 2 anemo (Sayu and Jean) plus kaeya and Zhongli (stick helps wth reaching certain spots) I could swap Kaeya for amber or whoever else fits.
same I got 100% on 2 islands in Inazuma, 98% in Narukami and 80% on the others just to get the teapot realm. Meanwhile I have no 100% in Liyue and most of them aren’t even 80%
The problem with getting primogems through exploration is, they're all single shot. Once you open a chest, you won't see that chest ever again. Once you solve a puzzle, it remains solved. So if you're a new player, you may be good for a banner but that's about it. Later in the game when you have all areas explored, commissions, events, and spiral abyss floors 9-12 are all you get. Oh and the daily checkin on their community web thing that gets you 60 primos a month.
@a------------ Actually, I titled this video specifically because new regions just came out. Watatsumi and Seirai together gave tons of primogems, so don't discount exploration just because "you already did it" at lower AR.
@a------------ It's not just "searching" the islands. It's all the content associated with their updates, like quests, events, achievements, Spiral resets, etc.
Did they remove chest respawn? Pretty sure chests do respawn, I've played back in the day, started again recently, with all but the highlevel chests being there again.
@@0nlinePrOo As far as I know, chests never respawned. It may seem like that because some chests are limited by AR level so if you level up, you may start finding chests again in areas you think you already explored. After playing for over a year, I have not seen any chest out of the hundreds initially there to respawn periodically.
Same... and the ones left behind accidentaly are... few. I have spammed the treasure compass a lot of times and it never finds anything XD And farming for Achievements is... nah
I'd also HIGHLY recommend doing character story quests. That way you can get primogems and test out characters so you can decide which one(s) you want to get :D
@@focallette Have you done all the chapter ones or how they are called? For 2 keys each. Once you finish them, you get 60 primos + 20 for an achievement
Thank you so much! This guide really helps for an F2p like me, I LOST TO QIQI on Zhongli's banner and I grinded for days, I farmed 108 fates and finally got CEO of GEO on valentines day.
I didn't sleep when I see I could get the prototype swords materials from the sakura tree, I do a chest hunt until reach lv14 and make both, Now my Amenoma Kageuchi is R3 and Sayu got one that fit her.
REALLY late help but for exploring I’d recommend: *Anemo* for all areas Mondstat is mainly *Anemo* for exploring Dragonspine you should use *Cryo* Liyue should have *Geo* Inazuma should have *electro* Watsumi Island specifically should be *Hydro* Also I’d bring any sort of bow user and at least one type of good elemental reaction
@@azcix ok, due to the main areas of the statues these are just the most common needed characters for puzzles, and for bow just a lot of places need bows, and watsumi is just mainly based on water (:
Sorry... This video is 3 months old. Would've been helpful at the time, when Watatsumi came out. But otherwise yeah there's not much hope for late game F2P...
@@Derpfish well. Still a good video. I'm a whale who went f2p after the crappy anniversary, and still haven't even purchased a welkin or BP. So I'm now here, with all of my chests in inazuma waiting for me, and all my hangout events. At 60 pity.. On 50 50 XD This is my first f2p grind. I must have Yae
sorry about that. tbh most (all) primogem guides out there really don't help endgame players. clutching characters when you don't have any exploration left is pretty brutal. best you can hope for rn is events/spiral/chasm update. and luck ofc. so best of luck!!
genuinely thank u for making this, i think a lot of ppl (myself included) underestimate just how many primos add up over time through exploration and other small stuff. hearing a tangible number like 81 wishes (even if most of us will only get about 50) actually helps to visualize the end goal of exploration which is usually rather tedious and uninspired in my opinion
I just wish there was something to speed it up, a gadget or food that gives you movement speed or infinite sprinting stamina outside of combat would be cool
i was saving for shenhe but my impulse wishing on itto banner ended me up with itto, this is actually one of the more useful guides to get primos ive found! most others just say to do daily commissions and events
i wanna be u so bad with those 500 primos i think ive gotten like 100 or smth primos from explroing inazuma lamoaoa but that just means i havent been trying hard enough
my pity is at 19 after getting albedo and the desperation i have on obtaining itto led me to here. now i can farm in peace update: put itto on hold after finding out zhongli was on the way. did not get zhongli, but i obtained venti, xiao, raiden, and i think one other i forgot on the way. tried to get ganyu and failed, now i'm saving for yelan's rerun since it was such a struggle for me to pick between her and xiao and now that i have xiao, yelan and shenhe are my next priorities
good luck with 50-50! I'm saving up for possible zhongli re run (i lost 50-50 on hu tao banner and had to start from the scratch,,,now I'm again on 50-50 gfdjhgf thats why im here T_T)
I recommend exploring and doing the quests on dragonspine, I got so many primogems out of there and my primogems is going on top of the roof at this point just by simply exploring that place
@@zucchiyeni when my first comment was out I was planning to go for Ganyu but then Hu Tao then Eula but now that I have Hu Tao and Eula I can go for Ganyu again
thank you so much for this! ive watched many other guides on how to quickly earn primogems, but none of them really worked well for me (that doesnt mean they were bad, but the tips shown in them didnt really help me specifically.) however, this video really helped me! i never would have thought to do a lot of exploring for primos! now, ive started to earn 3-4 fates a day! hopefully i can get albedo, thanks so much! :D update: HE CAME HOMEEEEE! THIRTY EIGHT PITY :D
@@-Vi0let- Not that hard tbh. I got 82 wishes in 8 days by doing world-quests, archon quests, dailies, exploration and welkin. Unfortinately, I ended up missing most events. And that's with just playing 1-3 hours per day.
Dude this legit helped me alot...I had tons of world quests and exploration left to do that i got like 53 wishes...and i on a 25 pity...so im ready for zhongli's 3rd rerun(I WILL HAVE ORDER)...Lastly Dude ur content is HELLA underrated Thanks a lot :)
i lost albedo to c2 mona :( i’m at 20 pity though, i can get him in probably 60 wishes!! :D i’m already at 1k gems (i started with 200 this morning) tryna get 1600 each day for 6 days!
thank you for this guide! haha really appreciate it, trying to gather a smidge of primogems for albedo, crying on the inside but this did help and remind me to work on those serenitea sets (im trust rank 10 so the only thing i do is create furnishings for the char pref sets)
Omg, this happened to my older sister. I don't think she did exactly what your friend did. She grinded for 5 days to get kokomi after losing 50/50 to diluc.
I just started playing three weeks ago and was in the same boat as your friend with grinding for Raiden Shogun. I'm glad to see that I picked up the gist of the grind and no longer farmed for resources to get her before her rerun ended.
Results may vary for everyone depending on how much you have explored . I am powerhousing like Tuna to get as max primogems I can get in time for Ganyu rerun . One more tip , go and visit the places you already have 100 percented because there are still some unmarked chests which don’t count for 100% exploration like some puzzle chests , underground chests and misc. chests . Those chests are generally marked on the interactive map , but they can’t be found with the Treasure Compass of the given region . I have been grinding out Inazuma for quite some while now for the Electro Sigils because indirectly , they are the best source of wishes because Electro Sigils can only be found in chests and exploration domains (aside from quests) and what else does these domains and chests give? Primogems . The Electro Sigils can give Acquaint as well as Intertwined Fates when exchanged with the Sacred Sakura at the Grand Narukami Shrine .
Also note that Enkonomiya wont have oculi since we already have max statue in Inazuma… It will likely still give electro sigils like Dragonspine gives anemo sigils, this does mean we might get rewards similar to the tree in Dragonspine, if this is the case, it may give us a few intertwined fates. Also remember that the watatsumi quest line implied enkonomiya will have a quest line (like any other inazuma region) We can also assume that we will get an achievement for completing the sakura… One last thing is that mondstadt and liyue both have 2 weekly bosses (one archon one story quest… I doubt a story quest will take place in Enkonomiya though) but enkonomiya will likely give us a second weekly boss
Yo I'm AR 35, I have 20 fates and zero pity (guaranteed) And I want ganyu more than I want to breath. what should I be focusing on in the early game for primos. I have nearly finished the first 8 stages of spiral abyss (5/8). I have collected all anemoculus and geoculus. I have opened all anemo and most geo shrine houses that give 40 primos from the chests inside. What should I focus on: -Exploration like most endgame players are doing. Chests/world quests/ puzzles etc. Or -Story and Archon quests (I just met dainsleff, still dont have inazuma unlocked yet)
@@Novacandyyy what I would like you to do is to do the Archon Quests to unlock Inszuma . Inazuma (in my opinion) is THE BEST region to explore because the chests give Electro Sigils , and for every 250 sigils submitted at the Sacred Sakura , you get 4 acquaint fates (the blue ones) and 2 intertwined fates (the purple ones) . So , for now , I would recommend that you do the archon quests to unlock ALL of Inazuma and explore it in like 40 days (it took me like 2 months to 100% two of the islands (Narukami Island and Seirai Island , imo the best ones to explore after you complete the quest Seirai Stormchasers)
Can confirm these are some of the best ways to farm primos. All the other guides are just a repeat of what others are saying. THIS however is helpful. Just playing wandering around the map and finding cool stuff is the best part of genshin. You can literally do what you want, when you want. As of now, I'm sitting with 50 pity, have enough for another 50 pulls. Still worried I might lose the 50/50 so I'm still grinding. Venti come home, I have wine and Cecilias for you. Underrated. You need more recognition
im so heartbroken. I didn't get ayato...i''ve been waiting for him since he was faceless😭 idc im gonna force him to come home and force myself to explore
Hello! Can you please tell me how? I lost my 50/50 to Diluc on the Eula banner. I really want her so I'm trying my best to grind primos! A little guidance would really be great!
this is really true because this happened to me i was wishing for raiden (she was gonna be my first 5 star) i was AR 37 i think anyways i was 71-76 pity and lost the 50/50 and got diluc, keep in mind this was like the 19th day of the banner I WASN'T GONNA GIVE UP THAT EASILY so i went and i explored everywhere literally all the regions then after again all that hard work i wished again and i got her on 78 pity oh there was 3 days left of her banner so yes DON'T LOSE HOPE
i, an ar 57 f2p, who soft pitied albedo on his last day, without any chests, only getting to floor 12-1 in abyss (no stars, that shiet is hard), and having the freemogems from mihoyo, am in fear of this man
THANK YOU SO MUCH!! although i knew that chests gave primos. i forgot that world quests exist and i didnt even think of the primos i would get through multiple chests. i lost my pity to itto that i saved for Xiao (i even had guaranteed) because i really wanted gorou. not only am i now on 50/50. there are 7 days left for Xiao's banner to arrive i was devastated but then i found this. although i didnt do it in 3 days, i kept a goal of gettin 3 pulls per day. until xiaos banner came i had gotten 32-34 pulls. and ofc that wasnt enough as i needed more and my pity on event was 14. and the goal of getting 3 pulls per day didnt last for long. but in the end. i won the 50/50 and got my vigilant yaksha at 81 pulls on the last day during the daily reset. he was the only character i was desperate to get and this video really gave me hope and made me get him. if i didnt find this vid i probably wouldnt have even tried edit : forgive me for the essay i made you read
i managed to get the featured 5 star of 4 banners in a row as a f2p by exploration only. Thanks to those who upload all chest locations in YT and to Derpfish for making me understand the importance of exploration
Sweet I’ve been doing good then. I’ve been doing all this stuff for awhile now and currently almost at 8k primos. Been saving for Ganyu for the past 2 weeks now. This video really helped confirm my thoughts and way of thinking. Thanks a lot and keep up the good work
Some other characters that are also great also great for exploring are Venti/Amber(gliding), Xiao(climbing), Sayu(sprinting with e) Kayea(speed), Albedo(his elevator), Zhongli (height and pillar), Yanfei/Gorou/Qiqi (marking random items you might need) You should check their talents to see which characters will make exploring easier regarding the area that you are exploring
If you have wanderer I would highly recommend using him for exploration since his Burt makes him move and glide up very fast, I would also highly recommend Yelan since her bow shoot at a big range, so you don’t miss as easily
2 mins into the vid I can say there was a big deal of speed running that happened. Exploration should not be rushed. It's part of the game content after all. Once youre done with it, you cant get it back.
I'm here with a burning passion for Yoimiya. I truly want her so badly and the F2P power is making me prepare myself even tho I'm AR41 and struggle with enemies (Fatuis in Tatarasumi Island..brr). I hope I'll get her, seriously... But the video was a nice reminder about all the primo farming possibilities, thanks a lot!
just got Eula my wife❤️ Heard that theres a Raiden rerun in 2.5 along with Yae Miko (take with grain of salt) So I really want her. Thank you man, appreciate it!
I did the same thing trying to get Raiden. I was able to get her a few days before her banner ended and my team grew nearly twice as strong almost instantly after building her.
Thank you for the motivation! I already got to pity 48 after 2 days. I‘m going to buy 4K genesis crystalls to get primos I never expected to still have a chance to get raiden, I was so sad when I lost the 50/50! I can only say the same, prioritize Dragonspine and Inazuma, the sacred Sakura and the red tree really help
10 months later but still useful lol I’m saving for Yoimiya with 40 pity +guaranteed I have 13 wishes so far but this really helps making me feel more safe thx also your voice is so calming for some reason
my mondstadt and liyue progress will forever be >100% because back then i focused on enjoying the game as is. now i value every single primogem and would always use guides to make sure i get everything. i literally 100% everything in dragonspine alone and inazuma lmao (of course, i dont do this immediately. i make sure to spend 3 days to a week to enjoy the new update/area before going all in on exploration)
Since I read a comment saying that exploring dragonspine helped them to get Eula, the same happened to me, while doing the exploration and characters’ quests, I got around 45 wishes in less than 15 days, totally worth it
Everytime I don’t have enough primos I go back to this video to remind myself to keep exploring and grinding for said character. Coming for you Kokomi even at 3 days left! Update: I lost the 50/50 at 79 pity (RIP) but ended up getting Kokomi at 2 pity! It was just a couple hours left of the banner too. So worth the hours of investment lmao
I did this with kazuha when i got qiqi on klee banner i was at 0 pity when he came out then i farmed golden apple and then lived in dragonspine for his entire banner duration and got him at 83 pity in 1 week then I got c1 raiden (was saving for her since kazuha banner) which got me like 40k primos (all inazuma 100% exploration), lost a 50/50 on her banner to diluc at hard pity then got her with a guarantee at 79 with the rest of my savings and farmed watatsumi and seirai for another constellation with a 50/50 won. Really wanted tartaglia after that and grinded liyue and got c1 diluc and then hu tao with a guarantee at 60 pity and Then I got Albedo with teapot grinding and winning a 50/50 at 76 pity
That's exacly how I farmed a lot of primos, I just played a lot, but not as no-life way, I was searching and I was searching efficiently; I got up to 110 wishes in about 1,5 month just because I got to get sets in teapot (I have inazuma sets that are missing, but other than them, I have all of them, I just need more characters) And I got into achievements, exploring and challanges I got a lot of wishes and my friends were pretty suprised since I'm a f2p, so yeah! You can get a loooot for your time Just wanted to share, have a great time :D
U just summed up the majority of what I do regularly in Genshin Impact. I just started playing this March and I already gained 2 five stars from the limited banners and I have 150 wishes saved up with 30 pity.
Me: *Finds this video on Primogem farms as an end-game F2P* Derpfish: "It is time to reveal to you... the ancient powers of: EXPLORATION!* Also me: A completionist already having a 100% map Me again: *Pounds my desk with my fist* (I kid you not, even with a 100% map I spend HOURS of my day exploring the map, hoping for a chest, and on some occasions I do succeed, gaining a grand total of 5 Primogems per two hours! I was excited when Three Realms Gateway Offering came out because it provides a lot of Primos, and yet completed the entire event in four freaking hours). I haven't touched grass in weeks.
Problem with the exploration method: it only works once, after everything is explored and all quests are done (that got me like 9k primos) its pretty much over as most of them are a 1-time thing
Here's a pro tip from me: even if you have 100% exploration, you can still find common chests and seelies, there's so much stuff out there the chances that you got them all in your first wave of exploration it's very small
Some basic exploration party tips are: If you are in Monstadt, you should bring at least one anemo character to activate anemo monuments. In Dragonspine you should bring pyro characters to light torches, to prevent sheer cold, and destroy cryo shields and mutation stones. In Liyue you should bring a geo character, preferably one that can create climb able geo constructs to activate pressure plates, and monuments, and reach higher places. In Inazuma you should bring a electro character for monuments, and sakura blooms if you need them. In Watatsumi island specifically, you should bring a hydro character. In general you should bring an archer to pop bloatie floaties, and to target aerial monsters. If you have Kazuha or Venti it’s worth it to bring them, just to make exploration easier. It’s also worth it to bring two anemo characters for anemo resonance, which will help you explore in general.
I saved 40+ pulls on raiden banner (my pity was 30 and guaranteed) I was super desperate! Sadly mihoyo made me go to hard pity, so I went for kokomi instead (which is 80 pity) i managed to saved up alot under 20 days
So I lost 50/50 to zhongli 2 days ago, I'm already at 24 pity by getting 100% on dragon spine, 60% on narukami Island, the events and the world quest, Hope I can get him since he's my favourite character
Coming back here during Mualani's Banner because I have her and her weapon now guaranteed, but not the 16,000 primogems I need to get them both. 14 days on the clock. Wish me luck.
@@introvertedley I played around 8 hours a day, 100% all of Nostoi Region and the Sea of Bygone Era, as well as all of Natlan and some of Fontaine. I played so much any normal person would become burnt out by it. I used the interactive map on Hoyolab to grab Everything in each area. You can do it, but it takes a LOT of time.
About a month ago i started exploring inazuma for a few reasons, 1 to have more primos for ganyu and xiao, 2 to get my sacred sakura tree leveled up, 3 to max my statues in inazuma and lastly just to have high exploration. i personally play on my iPad and then pull up the interactive map on hoyolab for most chests, puzzles etc it helps a lot, exploring is very time consuming but its really worth it, i started with 18kand now have 23k at the time of writing and i still have tsurumi island left to explore
@@khakikohii it kind of depends what iPad, newer iPad run it very smoothly whereas older ones might be slower or crash a lot, and you have the option to play with a controller but you don't have to :)
I’ve tried all these before I watched the video. If I tried all of these things already… well I used all of my exploration primogems to wish too. Inazuma is already 100% and Mondstadt is 99%. Liyue is 97% and everything else is above 95%… except for Dragonspine, which is 71%. I’m actually doing the things your friend mentioned these days and I also recommended these things to my friends. They said it helped them a lot and gained more Primogems and achievements. I also made a list on April this year for my must-do’s for the day and week. Exploring is always there. So far, I collected all of my oculi and lumenstone. I was actually doing Dragonspine earlier today to look for crimson agate to complete and max my frostbearing tree level. This month, as a AR55 level free-to-play player, I had around 350 achievements and gained 150 by doing what I listed on my list. I am still currently doing achievements and finding hidden things in the game which some of them are very interesting. I would also do co-op for achievements and finding chests too. When I help new players explore and bump into rare chests, I would try to remember if I had found it before. If not, then I would mark the location and go find it in my world. This works too. I also use the interactive map as a helpful guide too. And another thing was using gadgets. There are treasure compasses and I highly recommend using it if you have them available. Farm for the materials and make it in the smith. This is so helpful when finding hidden treasures. I’m using the gadgets every time I go treasure hunting every single day and wow. I find more hidden chests that I never had thought would be there if it wasn’t for the compass. The Inazuman Treasure Compass works in Enkanomiya too, Liyue’s works in The Chasm and underground, but the Mondstadt’s one sadly doesn’t work in Dragonspine (that was why I don’t have Dragonspine explored too much yet.) But other than that, basically I was just doing everything your friend said. This works. Even though if you’ve explored every place 100%, chances are there are a few chests sitting around hidden in sight waiting to be opened, and little things that give rewards.
I'm almost finished clearing out Ekonmiya, I maxed the sacred sakura tree, frost bearing tree and all of my exploration progress are at least 80% I'm relying on few chests I come across, and the few primogems the electro statue gives. Then I also rely on events, that's it. I have no other sources. See why end game players need bigger rewards than new players?
I’m at 71 pity but not guaranteed for Itto so I’m stressing, I really need to win this 50/50 💀 Update : I lost the the 50/50 but I already have around 30 pity so I can still get him in the next 2 weeks 😼 ANOTHER UPDATE: It turns out I had leftover money so uh.. no need for this video
