After wifey gone crazy with spritzes she bought a ton of aperol bottles, and surprisingly quick after she got bored of it. Now I know how to get rid of it, thanks a lot.
I use aperol in my version of a mai tai, instead of dry curacao. It really gives a nice twist with the bitter notes to stand against all the sweetness.
@@TheDrCork i use only 20ml of it, it’s fine. It’s actually really good and gives some complexity. The whole spec: 60ml Rum Blend (I use Flor de cana mix. 20ml 4y 40ml 7 y) 25ml aperol 20ml orgeat (it’s a 1:1 Sirup with a quarter of the sugar brown sugar) 15ml rich muscovado sugar Sirup (2:1) 15ml acid adjusted orange juice 25ml lime juice It’s a lot of volume, but it fits perfectly to my tikki cups 😁🍹
@@remhighAccording to Wikipedia: 30 ml Bourbon whiskey 30 ml Amaro (liqueur) 30 ml Aperol 30 ml fresh lemon juice That actually sounds like it could be good!
