There are a few things he left out that you should be aware of when exchanging money. There are 2 money exchanges on that corner near ben thanh market, ask them what the rates are before doing business, it can profit you greatly if you are exchanging a lot of money. These exchanges accept most currencies, but newer, crisp currency will give you the best rates, ususally above market rates. Old and dirty currencies may result in below market. If you are in a pinch and need to do a quick exchange, you can visit any jewelry store.

Hi there! I'm an online English teacher and I'm excited to be working with some students in Vietnam. I'm currently exploring the best payment platform to receive lesson fees. I was wondering if you have any thoughts on using local money agents in Vietnam. While it might be an option, I'm also open to hearing about other secure and efficient payment methods that work well for both Vietnamese students and international tutors like myself. I did some research and i discovered that some payment platforms are not accessible in Vietnam which is a little bit of a problem. Please what do you suggest? Thank you.

am from the philippines and will travel to ho chi minh this december. do I need to exchange my Phil. peso to usd? Or do money changers accept Philippine Peso and change to vnd? your prompt reply is much appreciated!
