I watched till the very end. This guy is on a different level. So much achieved and not even graduated yet. And yes the DSA bootcamp he’s talking about is really phenomenal. Literally the best I’ve seen. Been following it since thr past week and learned so many things
I've 10yrs of work exp in nontech. Planning to switch into tech roles going fwd. This video just pumped up my confidence and boosted my confirmation bias in not spending a penny on an MooC. Thank you,
Kunal you've power to end up employment problem in India by remote job. Hats off to you!! You're spreading good awareness because opportunities are limited in FAANG.
kids this days are very fortunate, back then you need to buy a book or go to a library, no opensource software, all are proprietary, no youtube tutorial videos on tech, no free coupons for courses no free courses.. but now you can learn everything you want with a click of a button, but most kids are just taking it for granted.
@@mawkuri5496 well the thing is always the moving forward people will be benefitted. What do you think for a child who isnt interested in doing anything at the moment realises that people used internet much effiently than him and he is sort of left out now and other people are growing at a much faster rate.
I'm just so grateful that people like Ishaan and Kunal exist, busting myths and showing those underrated ways not sticking to the norms. If I ever become someone HUGE in life, it'll all be because I started with following your guidance and applying the mindset you two have.
@@advaita6523 what would you recommend for a guy who is not from a CS background, but is really interested to become a blockchain developer and wants start a new career, i am 21 btw! I would love to seek some guidance
The key to working remotely is for you to be desirable enough for companies to hire despite the distance or time difference! Great video Ishan, as always :)
Agreed with Mr. Kushwaha. I'm a DevOps engineer with 5 years of experience and working in Indian Unicorn. People from FANG are coming here to work with us and getting 60-80LPA for L3 roles. Things are shifting from MNCs to Startups 🙂
This guy is a Thomas Shelby in software field... 💥 I'm from tier3 college from ece background...I've finished my 4 years of college by 2020... I got to know I should get a job to survive... After 1 YEAR... I started learning web development from RU-vid.. After 4 months from there... I started learning data structures and algorithms...preparing myself for sde roles in big companies.. I'm coming after you kunal... Since I have nothing to loose... I'm gonna work on skills and get remote job... And I'll tell you..I've done it and you're right af.. Thank you for inspiring guys ⚡
Wow. Kunal you are already public profile. Like to learn from you. Keep sharing good work and guiding our indian youth. #India #youthindia #interns #computers
Learning from this video 1) Do work in public (By Open source, projects, attend events) 2) Reach out to people 3) Work hard Make twitter thread after learning from podcast or seminar
I was little caried out when Kunal said life mai aish hi aish hogi.. But after that I realized I don't have enough skill and other requirements.. then I feel like mehnat to bohot karni padegi for what kunal was talking about. I just want to thank both creator for realizing me where I am right now and where I can be.. this is really great podcast..
I'm here from Kunal's channel and loved your work too that's why I subscribe to your channel, thank you to both of you from all tier 2 & 3 college students.
How can I miss a single part of the video.. thank you soo much.. for the things you guys shared.. I'm big fan and I followed every words of Kunal bhaiyaa since one year and half year. I'm learning great things instead of running in rat race because of his guidance.. Thank you soo much for this colab Ishan bhaiya.. ❤️
Ofc watched till the end! But it was so funny when ishan said thanku and kunal said nahi ek min ... u guys were in thug life throughout the video . Also add Harish and maybe all you three can tell us about startups, success and failures, and maybe about misconceptions on these stuff. Lots of love bhaiya.
1st time when you did one video with Kunal (about open source and GSoC). You had around 3k-10k subscribers. It was the first time I got to know about you both. That day was definitely life changing for me 💯 I'm learning so much from you both 🔥 Today you have more than 10 times subscribers. So maybe this might be a indication that you will, very soon be having today's 10 Times Subscribers 🤭💯 Keeep Inspiring ✨ I'm eagerly waiting to seeee that day 💯
I have a doubt like you are saying don't do internships for free but do open-source for free. How are both these things different while both can enhance your skills, make your resume stand out, help you build your personal brand and lead you to better opportunities. It would be really helpful if someone answers my question. 😊
Doing open source projects and unpaid internships both are different. Open source is basically like you want to contribute in something that everyone is using it and even you to make it more perfect. While internship is you are working for someone why you do it for free if you have good skills remember everyone has value of their time.
10:29 Voh "Apni Kaksha" mein kuch bhi karein, unko uske paise milte hai. Hume "Aman" rehkar poori "Shraddha" se apna kaam kaam karna chahiye taki kisi din successful ho sake. 😁
Being a learner and follower of Kunal sir it's my pleasure to reach till the end of the video keep spreading the knowledge Ishan bro by bringing these kind of genuine people in the field💜💜
I watched till the end....I am a JEE dropper and love coding with all my heart....bt could not understand much....can u plzz make these informative videos so that even people like me can also understand
Just giving my 2 cents here. Free advise. Dude get in a good college life will be much easier. In the end, the harsh reality is that companies will still prefer 1-2 tier vs 3tier for anything. Unless you are very lucky, getting into 3 tier clg, 95% of the time youll follow the average path. Looking at the competetion right now, the more you shine, the better your chances will be. This is actually happening to me rn, so I'm not making any of this up. Yes, you can do open source and stuff full on during all your clg time but when you sit down and do the actual math and find out the probability of getting a good return of investment from doing all this from a 3tier clg vs getting in a better college, it's like day and night. Good luck in life!
@@_DashingAdi_ ok its been a while and i did the same thing actually, did some internships (most were online due to covid), enough to build a resume. Still, i wish i had done them in big corps like amazon, gs etc. Eventually i got placed through dumb luck in my college placements with a good starting package, I'd say that the exp from internships acts as a primer, you still to be very good with dsa. The exp will highlight you, the dsa will help you get the offer. That is, if you get the interview. Keep yourself humble and keep grinding. It'll pay off sooner or later And yeah, ppl from better colleges get better offers in the same company.
I am a mother of a 5 year old and a daughter to aging parents. due to some personal family issues I have to stay in place where I cant get work. But I am truly inspired by you and Kunal. I am not sure if this is a right age to start coding and programming but your videos and it gives me hope.
Ishan can you please tell me I have to choose elective subject for my semester. 1. Fundamentals of Cloud computing 2. Fundamentals of AI 3.fundamentals of Iot What to choose?. Like kiska scope jada hai future me??
so you guys believe that remote work is the best , either you never worked in a team or you are a solo wolf , I m working in startup , I can assure you this is another of bogus that they say not to follow , there is no course for strong CS fundamentals you learn and gain experience, there is no other way
Absolutely love the concept of not going after huge name MNC rather learn more and create something which interest you have a reach and automatically you will get connection will follow your buddy love this mini podcast. @kunal kushwaha
That's because he probably started early . I also started late in 20's. These people just got that environment and we can't blame ourself for it . The only thing we can do now is to stop comparing ourself to others and work on ourselves. But i wish i started early as well or someone told me about it before. Software programming can take a lot of time , much more nowadays given how abstract things are getting in this industry.
literally the another best of urs i saw . I had watched it till the very end thank u so so so much genius to provide all such amazing insights keep going.
