Awe ❤️ Thank you so much!! We are trying to get some videos up. Eric is working long hours and I’m not good with a camera without him lol. Mercedes still needs prayer. She is super tiny still. Not growing as fast as we would like.
Thank you. I whelped my own litter watching your videos and taking your advice. It got hard for me when pups weren’t pooping and I had to figure out what meds to use . Thank you so much for all your help.
Thank you for the great info. Looking to breed my English bulldog in the spring, and appreciate all the advice I can get. You guys are doing great. Keep up the awesome videos. Oh and keep those cute puppy videos coming as well. They melt my heart!💙
Love watching you take care of theses babies 🥺 makes me feel so at ease as I do research and work to prepare for my very first English bulldog pup (just as a pet) here soon!!! Thanks for everything y'all do!
Thank you for the great information! Subbies, I found my heat lamp at one of my local Walmarts. It costed me about $9-$12 tops. Just another place you can look.
This channel has been so helpful with my first litter 🐾 I’m struggling keeping these little guys in the whelping pool, they keep climbing out and trying to get on the blanket or even my tile…I’m freaking out thinking they’re going to be too cold…but I also don’t want them to over heat 😭 are they okay to move out of the pool and onto a blanket or tile?

Always come to your videos when I need know something .. brilliant . Iv got 13 day old bulldog puppies they never go under the lamp they always the other side of the pen I’m thinking by how they acting crying n panting alittle . How long do they actually need the heat lamp ?
They need heat until 4 weeks old. But every week they don’t need it as hot. So it sounds like the lamp is too hot. Try moving the lamp up higher and further away from them. If you have a heating pad or any other source of heat try cutting that off.
You can buy a a heat lamp bulb or a regular bulb. The amount of heat comes from how close or far away you put it. But if you’re concerned I would buy the heat bulb.
Can you please let us know how little Mercedes is doing. I know it may be hard as you could be still unsure of the outcome but it would be good to know she is still surviving. You guys are doing a great job and love your videos.
Yes ma’am. We will try our best to send y’all a video tomorrow ❤️Thank you so much for thinking about her! That means the world to us. She is doing good. Still fighting the odds.
That’s fine you will just need to put the lamp farther away from the puppies. The important thing is the temp inside the container not the bulb wattage
watching your videos are really helpful! currently my Frenchie is pregnant so I’m getting ready 😓 but do I need the lamp and the heated blanket or can I just have the lamp? Also are the puppies allowed to sleep with the mom or do they need there own bed?
You can get by with just a heat lamp if it gives off enough heat. I would suggest getting a reptile heat bulb from Walmart or any pet store. These produce more heat. And I have to be completely honest, I’m really not sure with Frenchies if they can stay with mom or not. The purpose of keeping them separate is so the mom doesn’t step on them or lay on them and smother them. Bulldogs are big heavy dogs so this is a huge risk but with frenchies they are very small. It’s very possible they can stay with mom. You may want to try and find a video about frenchies to know for sure. Good luck with your upcoming babies ❤️🐾 If we can help in any way we will certainly try.
Watching your videos takes some of my Anxiety away. I'm getting ready to have our 1st American Bully litter in few weeks. 1 question. I'm I don't wanna use a whelping box. What would be the next opinion you suggested?
We keep the room at a higher normal. Around 72-74 degrees. Sometimes one heat lamp is enough but sometimes it requires 2 if your heating a larger area.
@@HouseofWrinkles oh ok hey I’m very curious. We trying to have a c section so after wards how to transport puppies home after the surgery without them getting cold ? Any recommendation would be greatly appreciated 🙏
Is it the exact heat lamp showed in the video? 🤔 a heat lamp should get hot. Maybe it’s not working right. Or your thermometer isn’t reading right. Are you putting the thermometer directly underneath the light? Another option would be to buy a heat bulb like the one the use for reptiles. That bulb will fit in the lamp showed in this video
@@HouseofWrinkles its a similar heat lamp. I got it from Walmart. maybe I will buy 2 new ones in the morning.i just checked it again and both thermometer are reading 80 degrees.
@@HouseofWrinkles thank you for all your videos. I got a new heat lamp and my pocket bully is having a c section right now. i have 2 good friends that are breeders near by so hopefully everything is smooth.
Same. I have 80 watt bulbs with thermometer under it and temp hasn’t gone above 68, which is what it was with out the lamp. I guess I’m going to hurry and order a heating pad.
