As an American subscriber of your channel, I've nailed 3/4 of your your bullet points where yes, I realize the practical projects are a 'must' in today's interview pipeline. I was in a two-round interview process just 2 wks ago, and it was all "practical-based" questions related to SQL that I didn't pass. Thus, I signed-up for LeetCode and am going through their challenges--already seeing an improvement. Nonetheless, your practical (YT) projects are a nice way to "stich-together" all of the theory and put it into practice. 🙂
Hi Abhishek, Currently i am DevOps Engineer in one service based company, But the truth the market is very down, I cleared two rounds in Globant, Two rounds in Qualistestgroup,, Both the position are on hold now, HR are saying we will we will get back to you once position gets reopened, all my 4 rounds were 1 hr each, with minimum 20 Questions. Man Market is very bad now.
I wanna ask some questions from your JIRA GitHub integration project. 1. There is no information of the GitHub issue in the JIRA issue. what is the point of creating a JIRA issue if there will be no info of the GitHub issue? 2. How does our Python application actually receive the information that Webhook is sending it. 3. How the Python application is creating a JIRA issue when the webhook is triggered. No line in the Python script explains this.

Sir I am really very confused right now. I don't know but why people who have been in the Industry for long time say that if you are in devops you should learn both software development+devops for a bigger picture. But when I tried doing this I got badly overwhelmed I was giving 4 hours to learning go daily in morning (planned to shift to software development)and 4 hours to devops in evening from your channel.But I started getting overwhelming for the morning part and eventually contacted one of my seniors from our college on topmate who is there in a good company as a devops evangelist in san francisco working remotely from India.He suggested me to master one thing at a time and to focus on devops and cloud. But people like guru sir and savinder puri sir(who have been in industry for 2 decades) advice that it's better to learn software development and then jump on to devops slowly. I am really confused what to do please advice sir. I am ready for doing hard work but please guide me.
Just focus on devops and cloud. Development is not needed for devops engineers. I don’t know about what others suggest but I have 10 years experience and I can say very strongly that you don’t need development experience for devops. You just need to understand the application workflow and operations. Ofcourse having the knowledge of development will help but it is not needed.
@@vinitpatil4981 , what you can do slowly step by step , you can start learning Python and over period of time get in learning Advance Python , you can get into the job profile where you will be heavily using Python in the project, say for example in Cloud computing there are a lot of opportunity where in you need good Python coding skills with AWS cloud + AWS Security services, once you start involving yourself writing code definately it will inspire you to learn few more programming skills, then you can go ahead in learning GO language. This is how i started working into Developement .

Hi Sai, I can understand your frustration. But its not true that every company asks for 2-3 years experience. Look at our community tab, I post screenshots of our subscribers success stories and there are freshers as well.

Mention 3.5 years DevOps Engineer that’s it if u add networkking and devops like 1 year networking and 2.5 devops like this also u can add thiss is good and add keywords in naukari in resume headline profile summary and otherypart project then …. It is easy for u in bgv they dont care once u selected
Hey Abhishek most of the companies wants min 5 yrs of exp. That is the problem because if a person have 6 yrs of IT exp, in that if they have 2 yrs of devops exp, they are saying as 6 yrs of devops exp. So companies are preferring them. A person who started as devops engineer with 2 to 3 yrs are not getting calls.
I have 5 yr exp and looking for DevOps job for 4 months. Problem here is interview they asking you like they want to find a superman now. You have to know 100 technologies, 10 programming languages. The companies are crazy now.

Lol it's very difficult to enter into devops than i expected i studied DevOps for 4 months full time despite of having projects im not getting any calls or nothing.. mostly only senior DevOps positions are available that too more than 5yrs lol no where near 3 yrs except a very few, it's not funny tho :/, im thinking to give up ig to my previous role
