How you remove or choose whether to remove your pubic hair or not is your prerogative. Here are a few suggestions from a dermatologist point of view based on how the hair removal methods impact skin: ➡️Shaving This is the most common method used. It may suit people but it is not preferred. If you like to shave , shave only in the direction of hair. Shaving can lead to small micro cuts in the skin which leads to infection. Reverse shaving also causes in grown hair. If you have bumps in your pubic area then do not shave. ➡️Waxing This is a most painful way of hair removal. It can lead to burns if not done correctly. Washing can also lead to ingrown hair as the hair gets broken under the skin and starts growing inwards. ➡️Hair removal creams This can be the cause for allergies or even darkening of the pubic area. The pubic area is exposed to moisture and friction. Any kind of irritation in the area tends to linger on for longer and cause darkening . ➡️Trimmer or clipping with scissors This may be the most painless and hassle free way to remove hair. Always trim in the direction of hair. Though it will not give your smooth hairless skin, it is the one which is least likely to cause problems. You can use a sanitiser to wipe the cutting surfaces of these devices to prevent chances of infection. Always store in a dry are to prevent rusting. You have to be very careful while using scissors. Always use your non dominant hand as guide. ➡️Laser hair reduction If you want to opt for a more permanent option then laser hair reduction is a good choice. There is a common notion that laser hair reduction is either very painful or very expensive in the bikini area. Neither of that is true . Numbing cream can be used in people who are very pain sensitive. As this is reduction and not removal , there may be thin downy hair remaining, usually in the inner side of labia. As the hair in this area are thick, results with laser are very good.
trimmers is definitely the safest easiest way but I prefer waxing if you go to someone with experience you won’t get burned and it will be a quick experience. I’ve tried nair and shaving as well and didn’t have an issue if you are careful all methods will work
Yeah... I agree with her... I had very few pubic hair in my teenage but I wasn't comfortable with it so I used hair removal creams and razor.. but it made my hair grow thick and dark... I discussed it with my mom and she suggested me to use a trimmer as pubic hair is normal and you dont have to wax them... waxing is normal on your body hair as its very fine and soft but pubic hair is thick so waxing can cause irritation and y'll its really painful... so girls its normal to have pubic hair , your pubic skin can't be smooth and hair free so stop waxing it to make it look smooth... trimmer can help you to keep your intinate area hairfree and it only takes 10 mins to do so... Here's my go to intimate hygiene routine : 1. I use dove body wash as an intimate wash, face wash and ofc body wash.. Its very mild and you won't feel any kind of irritation or soapy residur while using it. But be careful to not apply it in the inner parts of your vagina as your vagina has a self cleansing system, it doesnt need any particular soap or cleanser. 2. I use trimmer every 15 days as I have very fine hair down there since I stopped using razor and hair removal creams. Trimming is very easy and it hardly takes 10 mins. 3. Also I do my routine body check ups as I have thyroid. This helps me to keep track of what nutrients my body is lacking and what dietary changes I can do to take care of my body. A good diet always helps you to get good hair and glowy skin.
Please do let me know my questions answer so my question if you use trimmer so the hair gets thicker or it stays the same 2nd question how can I make those hair thin
@@estela_agbegninou8337 Well maybe.....but by, infections I meant the infections in the vagina (eg. yeast infection etc), and not on the skin. Pubic hairs protects the vagina from all sorts of infections. Of course that doesn't mean that one who wax that area is destined to get infection and one who doesn't is devoid of any infections throughout his/her life.
The trimmer has been a gift. I’ve been using a trimmer for over 11 years now and I’ve not gotten any new razor bumps. I prefer a rechargeable one, so I don’t have to deal with any cords.
It's everyone's own choice. Trimming is better for you maybe. But many of us prefer waxing/shaving over trimming. Mine won't last even a day with trimming 😂 I'm super hairy and my underarms and pubic area feels very itchy after just 2 days or shaving. I started waxing and never looked back. Waxing lasts more than a month
Hey, I have the same issue. Even though I may admit it doesn't bother me, it actually does. Do you have pcos? I am trying to figure what is causing the premature greying
@@ishikaverma4724try acharya panchakarma hair oil. Eat healthy, Eat black sesame seeds and coconut early morning for 3 months, This might not solve your problem entirely, but it did fro me when I had few white strands when I was 15. Now I have white hair again when I am 26. So for 11 years I had no such problem. Also dont stress Can visit Ayurveda a doctor
Try Philips oneblade with body comb or for close shave for experience Philips bodygrommer. Philips bodygrommer just clean without any click and doesn't cost much, have full waterproof so just use while showering.
@@gabrielebello1190 Philips one blade has one issue and that is you need to buy separate body comb or have to glide slowly otherwise you can ofc cut your balls; happy balls btw! And you also need to replace the blade after every 3 months according to Philips but actually you can use it longer than that until it breaks. Which made it having 2 issues 😅. Anyway, for Philips body groomer you can use it longer like 1-2y depending on your hair and how you use it. Note that both are different products. Philips one blade has a benefit like you can also buy a separate blade for your face I mean beard.
I used sisors and it has been very irritating for me these past few days. I don't recommend using sisors if you don't have cotton underwears. From my first time doing this, I realized that the hair was supposed to be curled but some of them were just straight up so it can stick out of your underwear, making it very irritating and uncomfortable. Might take around 30-40 days to grow back up again.
Hi doctor these days herbal hair removal powders are in the market and lots of people are using it but i don't think its natural can you please make a video about it ir would be reall helpful Thank you lots of love 💕
All the soaps, powders, creams are harmful.. avoid them on anywhere in skin.. it burns the hair to remove them which is quite dangers especially in terms of pubic hair!
Pigmentation in that area is normal. The type of tissue is different from the rest of your skin. Don't feel ashamed, everyone's genital/anal area is darker than the rest of their body.
@@Rhileyn😂😂thanks for the comment...i am learning new things today as it's my first time searching for this type of things,,,also feeling relieved too😌
Try wearing loose cloth...avoid tight undergarments or ones that produce sweat like denims...you can also use natural chemical free aloe vera gel...it works!
Yes yes yes yes 🎉 using razors gave me so many bumps and irritation i used to hated doing it. And from quite a good time i am using only scissors to trim them down and now i am so happy with this 🎉❤
Brazilian wax is best for me. However it is little risky bcoz of soft skin at pubic area but good solution for me to prevent regrowth for atleast 2 months and I do it myself. Razors and other devices leads to early regrowth and itching infections and I had gone through this earlier therefore my suggestion is to use Brazilian wax.
I'm using Intensive pulse light (IPL) device at home by myself only to remove my body hairs. And it has worked like amazing. 90% reduction in regrowth of Body hair. I was super hairy before and had to do waxing every 10 days. But now I haven't done waxing since 2 years. For that's 10% mild growth I simply use razor and use IPL device again where required. 😊
There is only one aproved method, and that is NOT laser. Strange enough, this was availble for DIY at home in the sixties, for little money, a device was like 10$ back then, but you needed patience and a steady hand.... Today this is used for example prior to trans surgery, with way more professional tools and ditto price tag. Strange thing is, you don't need much to make a tool yourself again, maybe 10$ in parts, so much cheaper than 10$ in the sixties, but the beauty industry don't want you to know, as it kills their business. The way the tools are so expensive is that someone else has to be able to do the removal, and it is easy to hurt someone, but hurting yourself with simple tools is not happening as you have feedback from your own nerves on the fly.
If you get the waxing done from a professional and time to time it’s not that painful…… it’s one of the best methods and the growth is slow then and scanty and is not pokey as it would be in case of razor and trimmer…….. it’s also the most hygienic….
Hey I do with venus bikini razors twice a month in 15/20 days with applying shampoo over it or foamy bodywash it's quite good but yah trimmer could be more easier I guess so wil try out
Do not apply shampoo/bodywash on your bikini area as it will disbalance your PH level. You can simply use a razor by wetting the area with water only or if you want a foam like thing then use any good vaginal wash but apply externally only.
Use your razor on dry skin without wetting your skin,it is less clumsy and more efficient try it!! Even I did it once when I was feeling lazy to use bodywash and making lather out of it and then shaving & now I realised easiest way of shaving it .must try this method.
Their are too many ways people can remove pubic hair , people don't know. Like one can use Apilator for longer action, or there are some hair removal sprys for longer effect
Guys don't cut with scissors 😭 i did, now i got hair in soft area also cause of that itching, rashes, white discharge happens everyday and my hair is very thick now i don't know what to do 😢😢😢
@@bhavikagarg5884 you can't remove them to the skin like shaving or waxing. I just trim it to a better length. Also no form of hair removal is going to make hair grow back thicker
Mam outer lips dark hn..,, nt a smoker🚬,, no excessive sun exposure,😩🥺..,, Can it be fixed permanently by any procedure..??????? Plz make a detailed video with total time and cost. Thnk u
Hi there! I have the same exact problem, my very inner thigh and outer lips are dark, so naturally as an insecure teenager, I've researched SO MUCH about it. Turns out, unfortunately, no cream or home remedy has been 100% proven to work to lighten the skin and it is completely natural to have darkened skin around that sensitive area
Hey can you please make a video for what trimmers would be good for there and yk clean and all i tried manyyyy and i trust you a lot so please do that !!
Hi hope you doing good I am watching your videos is really good just want to ask is epilator safe for body as I am living in Canada so don’t have time to go to salons so kindly revert for this thank you !
@Avneet if I would remove pubic hair, I will do it permanently. even if you don't get cut or don't get irritation after shaving, folliculitis will take place after 2-3 days. If you can't complete remove pubic hair you just need to trim at 1mm pubic hair grows half a mm eveey day i would say every three days you just pass a trimmer with a guard nit touching skin
Hello guys ,mujhe itna difference kisi me nhi dikha jitna ap alovera gel use kre or fir razor , isse na mujhe itching hui , or hair growth bhi soft rhi . Ha but apko alovera gel bhut quantity me use krna to bilkul kre qki vo hi main he , its very good experience for me .coz I have very much hard hair but I found this relaxable solution
I use scissor(though can't do properly on perineum area)but within one day it feels like i am having thorns popping out of panty😢 Just like after using razor or wax cream for underarms, the next day thorns comes out
Now I use razors and scissor for that but I get a lot of rashes mam!! Please tell a better option rather than scissor because it cant go with the tiny hair
There's epilators but they hurt so bad, it literally pulls out your hair as if you're plucking it. Waxing is great if you can handle about 2 sessions of a little pain
No need to remove whole hair. Adults have pubic hair and that's ok.... it's normal. You don't have to waste your time and money on painful things like waxing and what not.
Men have same amount of coarse pubic hair , but bikini wax is not a compulsion for them And yes it has no medical importance like some gynacs tell it is just superstition, nature gives u pubic hair as a sign of puberty n adulthood for some scientific rsn, only it was a trend forced in 40s when bikini was invented, to objectify female body 🤦
