Voicemails are just todo lists that other people create for you. Now your smart-home can add to you're ever-growing todo list 😁 However with this automation you can easily cross items off your list. In this video i show you have to have your smart-home read your todo-list to you and delete the entries after it's done.

I have a Google home which I'm not using to its full potential, so far it's my radio, kitchen TV, and news channel. Ever since I saw chatgpt I knew this was the next stepping stone for it. Now going to watch this guy's entire playlist

I really dig this. The procrastinator in me would keep those items in the to do list until I check them off by hand. I would then send a more aggressive reminder a few hours later for the remaining items. It’s worth mentioning I’ve missed trash day a few times this year. 😅

How do you handle Google speakers/Chromecasts need for be awake to play the full messenge?

I’ve never had an issue with the speakers cutting messages short. At worst long messages take a while to be converted to speech from text but then Google plays the entire audio file.
