Hey everyone, please do keep in mind that the advice given is from a very experienced developer. Meaning the numbers mentioned throughout the video are standard numbers to them and is really a baseline number to be able to have a great increase in players. Also do keep in mind you don’t need to have a full 70k, use whatever you have available. The amount you put in will determine the amount of players! The more you use the higher chance of a large number of players where if you use less then you may see slightly less players. Apologies regarding the blur throughout the video, It was aimed to have viewers focus on the subtitles and the voiceover but after rewatching it here on RU-vid it was most likely not the best idea. It will for sure be something I reconsider next video.
Hi, nothing was mentioned about what happens after those couple of weeks. How do you keep a game running for months/years? What are the next steps? thanks.
Perfect video dude! I would also make a video about the updated ad system with bids as that would be super useful. Maybe doing some research into the bots that disrupt the game bids would be amazing as well (when you start sponsoring and a bunch of NPC bots join the game). Overall, I’ve had a few successful games and this video is right on point :)
Seeeing your channel ik your a dedicated developer so am I I been. Perfecting my UIs designing for almost 4 years perfecting every style humanly possible on Roblox + I have 2 years of experience of building too I am looking for a partner who’s willing to work with me until we reach the front page making games after games I guess you might be down I would like to join ur dev team you look like a skilled scripter and that’s the only skill I lack
It may seems very pricey for a standard Roblox, but do keep in mind we interviewed a developer who has been doing Roblox Development for 10+ years, meaning that sort of money is most likely not much too them, and they are willing to take that risk of spending that much to create a large player base. At the same time, Whatever amount of Robux you have can also work.
@@Itz_FloppyFish not a very good tip for a beginner dev but someone who already has a successful game it is a very good idea to advertise with the money your earned. So understandable
You don't need $700 to sponsor a game, you just need $700 to give it a very solid foundation. You can also use free alternatives to marketing, like making a bunch of social media posts on your game and a bunch of RU-vid videos on it, and maybe you could get streamers to stream a little bit of your game for free if it looks interesting enough to them. Just spend what you are willing to spend and do what you're willing to do, and I am sure you can get a game off the ground to the point where you make enough robux where you don't need to spend any real cash on sponsoring the next game you make. You just gotta keep trying, and it will be a little harder when you arent rich, but with some effort, you will still reach your goal in the end.
@@Fp30501 It isn't all black and white like that. Just because he doesn't have $700 in robux doesn't mean he can't advertise his game successfully, it'll just take a little bit more time trying to get it off the ground, but it will get there with enough time and effort.
That's why most people save save save so they have a nice pile for launch day. Also this would be for a larger really polished game, not a "find the markers" or "ultra easy obby for babies".
@@ComplexStudios-u8b well i only make simple scripts if your searching for a modeler contact my brother hes very good in blender and if you want he could make you something for cheap
I HATE how roblox decided it was a good idea to not allow under 13 accounts to not get an opportunity to get maybe millions of robux or hundreds of millions of robux.
If you think you're gonna make millions with your first game, then you clearly dont have the mental capacity to manage that money, nor the community within the game.
i would like to say if you want another way to advertise you can play a game called advertise your game you claim a booth and can advertise, its free so i recommend it!
Thank you very much for your video, but I have a question that I hope you can answer. Can't we see from the Engagement section of the Analytics in Experiences where players are from, including their regional and age segments? Why do we still need to test each one in Sponsor Ads? Isn't it more convenient to see which type of players make up the largest proportion in Engagement and then directly target ads at those players?
I have experience with making a game on Roblox successful and he is explaining EXACTLY how it works. This is the best explanation on how to promote Roblox games I’ve seen so far. Keep up the good work!
Hi, what do you do after the 2 weeks? They said at the end roblox likes to let a game blow up for 2weeks and then die so players are always exposed to more games. HOW do you keep a game populated for months/years? This was not covered at all!
hello Floppy i was wonder if u can make a video on how to make a teleoprt gui checkpoint system. were u are level one need to reach level 2 once u reach level 2 u unlock teleoprt 2 so uare able to teleoprt to level 1 and 2 instead of 3 and 4 intill u reach those levels??
local GUI = script.parent local player = getPlayerFromCharacter.userID GUI.enabled == false if player.MembershipType == Enum.MembershipType.Premium then GUI.enabled == true end i wrote this on mobile, and i hope this is correct since im a beginner scripter
@@Darko_Boipretty good but no need for “==“ when setting property values. Also since this would most likely be a localscript you would be better off using game.Players.LocalPlayer
What if a developer has worked on a game for over 3 years consistently and is from a poor background with a very neat game and can only raise up 7k robux for ads? (thats me btw me :((( )
I know this is old, so I just want to say it seems using USD is a much better value than using robux. Now we can pay for sponsored ads with USD it has a much better rate, for some reason...I don't recommend getting premium except for a long term way to save up.
people dont understand that investments aren't made to be cheap especially when it gives it the chance to make you a couple thousand dollars or even hundreds of thousands over time.
tysm btw you made a video about how to turn off collion on player can you also make a video on a collison on zone so only if the player is in that zone the collison is on (on the player)
Just learn how to script man. I watched a couple beginner scripting videos and within about two weeks, I had a solid foundation of syntax and how the code worked line by line and what things did. Don't underestimate what just a week of learning coding can do, because you aren't limited to learning what is in the video, the video will give you a sort of set of tools which allows you to branch off on your own and figure out things yourself. Watch some beginner videos, and you'll never be asking these kinds of questions again because you'll just know how to figure out what you don't know all on your own, trust me. BTW to answer your question, you can probably just make a very large and fully transparent part, that when touched, will re-enable the collisions of the character model. The way you access the collisions property of your character in order to turn them off/on seems to be a little less than straight-forward compared to other things, but there is some code that utilizes some kind of service called the "Physics Service", and you can probably just copy and paste that into a script and then have it working.
i cant believe i said "Minimum 700dollars?!?!? 50dollars a day?!?!?!? Is this guy mental? Who agrees" a month ago i watch you all the time now and i watch your videos for my game that i am making right now sorry floppy and thank you.
TeleportService, search this up 1) get service for T.S 2) T.S info must have (place where you want to teleport to' id), player username) 3) API Access must be set to true
just get a YT to play your game, and have them make a video, my friends game Clicker Lords had 400 cc players after russoplays played it how we did it: russo streamed and the entire discord server (around 20 people) spammed to play it.
I have 1 million robux, I’m not sure what a good use for advertising is. I’ve heard tiktok was good for it and ugc events. Tiktok is more algorithms though.
Yes, 70k is a large amount even for more. Do keep in mind this information was provided by a developer who has 10 years of experience meaning they have profited a lot to be able to spend that much, but also as mentioned in the video, if you don’t have 70k use what you can to sponsor your Roblox game.
@@ChickenDoodleSoup- yea no car u can buy for $210 is any good fam… and if u don’t think the game will succeed in the first place then that’s not the type of game u should be sponsoring in the first place if ur poor
@@wirehim Ik I can’t buy a car either 210 but I can still spend it on better things, and that’s why I’m not sponsoring any of them if it might all go into the fire anyway, I can just use social media or something instead of wasting my money
Sponsors can go either, extremely well and you double, triple, quadruple your money invested or be a loss. As mentioned in this video each game is different, but if you follow the steps we discussed the chance of loosing anything is low.
