An Amazon fba product not selling issue might actually be an amazon listing not selling issue. Fixes to the listing may help in this regard. These problems are much more difficult when stuck with amazon inventory of a large amount. Failed products on amazon are a part of the process but you do want to know how to liquidate inventory and what to do with excess fba inventory. How to liquidate inventory on amazon is most important when you’ve chosen bad amazon fba products which turn out to be amazon fba failed products. These are usually dues to common amazon fba mistakes. The key is to liquidate amazon fba inventory and move on to better opportunities with your lessons in tow.

I've been running manual ppc campaign for the last 2 month (since launching), but its been crazyyyy, soo much money spent, soo far I have sold 375 without any profit in fact Amazon has charged me on top $1099 in the course of 2 month because acos has been higher than profits. I have tried everything, recently had down and up bidding strategy, recently changed to down only. Should I stopped everything and go with auto only? . I have been running that one too, it brings me some sales maybe I just need to adjust few things. Overall this has been a nightmare, wasted soo much money for nothing and have 600 more units🤦‍♀️. Thinking about removing inventory. By the way thanks for replying back to me.

@@xiomaralugo6122 Sounds like what happened to me. I used a company Sellezo that Dan recommended and they haemorrhaged my money in PPC. But what I learnt from them was if a keyword had been clicked on with no purchase, more than 12 times, then ditch that keyword. I'm not sure if 2 month is long enough for the automatic targeting to 'machine learn' the best words and phrases. but I do know once it's working, its better than we are at manual targeting. It works out the best keywords that are turning clicks into purchases. An example of manual targeting going wrong was I thought I had good key words all ticking along nicely., but one day I discovered a keyword had been clicked on 80 times with no purchase. I thought it was a bot or a competitor so told Amazon but they said it was real people, so I lost a lot of money from that. I later realised that the Automatic targeting was getting a far better return so I turned off the manual ones and things went much better. Still not as good as I wanted thought What I did also is went on to facebook groups that were associated with my product (mine was for immune compromised people) and say how good the product was that my sister bought me. I wouldn't put the link, until they asked though as they delete your comment if you put the link straight away, plus Facebook will stop you unless you pay. I often found other people in the comments section would put the link. but thats only good if you are selling a unique product, otherwise they end up taking customers to a competitor. So I'd get a friend's profile to put the link under my comment, saying "I found it!!" lol Are you product matching? using the ASIN number of products that people who may also buy your product? that helps get sales, although it can attract browsers just clicking and wasting your money. Amazon is so Fukn greedy!! But that said I hardly sold a thing on eBay

I'm just wondering why we would use this and take a loss in the process vs just let Amazon dispose of the product, especially when Rebaid starts to charge for the service. Would it be more expensive to pay Amazon to dispose of the product? I'm in Canada, so thought that might be my best option.

Hey Karen, disposing would mean loss of your initial cost + disposal fee. Rebaid currently, depending on how much you can move with them, would mean recouping a significant amount of the initial cost + no disposal fee. Consider other services applicable in your region, there's also some FB groups for this I believe, or even removing the stock to use in other ways (lead magnets/additions/gifts) before disposal, but yes that is the last option as well.

Since this vid was created, removal fees have increased. Is it still worth it to pay high removal fees vs $300 monthly storage fees with slow sales?? Im thinking removing 600 units which equates to $600 at about .97 a piece

Rebaid doesnt work I think its gone. Coupons are now 50% max. An you cant put review my products now in your products. Its very hard to get products going on amazon.

Preferential will apply only the one, best deal for the customer. The other one will allow stacking, I forget the name, I think it's "global" or "unrestricted" or similar.

Good question. I assume 2 things: They get to beta test it since it's new and also it provides their customers solid deals while their launching side remains profitable. It also gives more exposure to sellers who might use the launching side. Get em while they hot lol :)

Dan I guess that Amazon fees don’t apply still for this? For example if we give 50% off and Amazon fees are basically 50% then that equals zero…

Danny Amazon fees should not be 50% of your sell price, they should be more like 30% (both referral fee and fulfillment fee). Also, referral fees will be based on what the customer pays, so if you discount 50%, then your referral fee you pay Amazon will be 50% less. In your research you should aim for a 40% + profit margin. 30% landed cost of product, 30% Amazon fees, 40% profit. If that's the case, then if you sell at a 50% discount, then you lose your profit and 10% of your landed product cost but keep in mind you referral fee will be lower as well, so maybe a 5% loss.

That is the per redemption fee for rebate campaigns. There is no cost to run a discount code campaign.

The DISCOUNT campaigns are free currently, the normal REBATE campaigns (for launching) have a cost.

The per redemption fee only applies to rebate campaigns. When creating a discount campaign you won't be prompted to enter a payment card so you can be sure there is no charge for running a discount campaign!
