Detail: a lot people didn't played GTA V on last gen (like me) and can't get the Railgun. And isn't only the gun. There's also great vehicles such as Duke O'Death and Marshall. The M60 and M249 are the better options for LCS and VCS respectively. Toni and Victor can run with both weapons and hit all targets(Minigun can't hit every target due to it being aimed low).

Tips for shooting down police mavericks in some GTA games: GTA SA: Be careful that you may receive deadly damage when the chopper explodes near you. As a result, I use the Sniper Rifle and shoot the rotor from the far distance. GTA LCS: no more heli explosion damage, instead, helicopters are super intact (needs 125 rounds of M60 to destroy the chopper) thus the minigun seems to be the only option. Also, Heli sniping is possible but the chopper moves super fast and they attack from higher places, so heli sniper is not highly recommended. Also, you can shoot and kill the soldiers driving the rhino. GTA VCS: Compared to other 3D games, the VCS mavericks are really weak, considering that only 6 rounds of equalizer(revolver) can shoot down. Moreover, you can shoot the pilot as well, thus Laser sniper rifle would be better in terms of shooting down the chopper from the distance. Rhinos are similar to LCS, so minigun may still work. GTA CTW : Heli Snipier Trick does not work anymore here, though helicopters are super weak (6 rounds of revolver). If you use the Explosive Eagle cheat, only 2 rounds of revolver can destroy it. Thus, Minigun is the best option, except the rhinos: Not only they are completely bulletproof and almost fireproof, they shoots you with high accuracy. more than 3 RPGs are needed in order to make the soldier come out of the rhino.

I think that GTA III M16 is the craziest in all games , COD , GTA , Battlefield, and etc.

I disagree with LCS and VCS I believe M60 and M249 are the best since it shoots way faster than it did in Vice City and you can run and jump with those weapons in those games and is overall a very easy weapon to use than then the Minigun
