Thank you for this video. However, your review comes across as lopsided toward Hostinger. Quick checking the plans, I see that while Bluehost's entry plan lacks backups and free SSL, their second-tier plan includes daily backups and SSL. Hostinger's base plan only offers weekly backups, which can be problematic for dynamic sites. Additionally, people in the comments suggest that Hostinger doesn't have live support (which can be a lifesaver in emergencies). While your content is interesting and has value, I am left wondering (given the numerous, repeated, exceptionally enthusiastic plugs for Hostinger) if any of this content is influenced by affiliate incentives. (Note: For anyone who's curious, as of 5/12/23, Hostinger plans = $2.99-3.99/month, Blue Host = $2.95-5.45/mo, SiteGround = $1.99-3.99/mo, GoDaddy = $5.99-7.99/mo.)
Honestly, any video you watch is probably affiliated with one company or another. I need to renew with bluehost and the 3 year renewal was over $600. So I'm looking for another host. I only have a splash page and I wasn't going to spend $19/month. That's absurd. They get you in with sub$3 pricing them bend you over when it comes time to renew. All I need is a host that I can put my WordPress site on. Bluehost did have very slow loading speeds but I don't know how good it was compared to others since I only had bluehost and GoDaddy years ago. Any recommendations for hosting?
I have to agree, avoid Godaddy at all costs, support is terrible and they always to to upsell you. Ive recently changed to Hetzner cloud but its a learning curve, Maybe you could do some tutorials on cloud
I do not recommend hostgator, since you run a lot of risk. I simply forgot my expiration date and they deleted everything without even giving me a chance when I found out. I wanted to pay immediately, but they delete even the backups. Lousy hosting
Like your presentation, thank you. I want to migrate from BlueHost to your suggested host plan of Hostinger. Suggestions on the process? How do I transfer the domain name too? Thanks...
You can actually ask bluehost how to transfer over your hosting and domain to hostinger and they will walk you through the process which is really nice. Ive transferred a ton of websites from different hosting providers over to hostinger and I always ask tech support of the previous hosting provider how to transfer. They always walk you through how to move it.
Yes you can! When you create a new website with Hostinger, you can migrate your site in the process of setting up your hosting account, or you can wait till you get to the wordpress dashboard and use the All-In-One Plugin that comes automatically downloaded on your wp dashboard when you build a site with hostinger, and you can migrate your site over using the plugin. Hope this helps
Hi, say for example I bought the 12 months premium hosting, which can host up to 100 websites. does that mean I can get free 100 domain names on the first year?
No. You only get 1 domain for free. Rest you have to buy and connect it with website. Are you looking for a cheap host? I mean, where you can test your website or test anything related to website?
Dude this isn't just a "top best of" list with affiliate marketing links, this is a crash course on web development and technical lingo. By far the best I've seen, seriously thanks for this type of content
Thank you so much! I was hoping to help everyone understand what they're getting when the sign up so I am glad this video was helpful and informative. Really appreciate the comment.
I hate when people complain but don’t offer solutions. Why don’t you make a video of the ones YOU recommended if these are so horrible. The more people are aware they can make an informed decision. There’s no value in offering negative energy
Beware Hostinger: No phone support !! All support is via chat or email. When I have an issue, it usually takes a "back and forth" of 8 to 12 emails to get one issue resolved. I signed up for a 4 year contract but I'm leaving after 1 year.
The one thing that you didn't mention is the renewal prices. My bluehost jumped from sub $3/month to $19 /month after 3 years. Thats a ton for my 3 web pages.
@@jonboll-LGM there's a difference between an introductory price and eventually being overcharged. There were really no new features and the speed was terrible. That's why I bounced.
WHERE HAVE YOU BEEEEEN EARLIER!!!! I own a new digital agency and I've been using hostgator for years, after all I had a bad situation with hackers! Hostgator didn't care for me at all, the didn't even run the Scanner, so I had a massive fight with them! I decided to move on Hostinger and I LOVE IT!! Really thanks for the video dude
Wow Im sorry to hear you got hacked but Im glad everything is well now and im happy to hear your happy with hostinger. They really are the best. Cheers!
Hostinger is not what is advertised. They have bad support with excuses and no professional technical solutions. Maybe you're luckier. Cheaper does not mean better. Look out for scams on many known websites.
Really great video, I feel enlightened haha! What would you recommend for web hosting outside of the US? How important is it that the servers are near me? And what distance is okay? Thanks again
Thank you for sharing the video! I am new to website development, just wonder if I want to collab with my friends on WordPress, do we all have to purchase an account?
Thanks for the great explanation! Much appreciated! When a host offers free SSL (specifically Hosinger) would that be free SSL certificates for all domains hosted? Or just a single website??
Hi, great video! Thanks for sharing with us. Quick ques - on hostinger they have web hosting and wordpress hosting. Is there a difference as all features are same under plans? Should we choose wordpress hosting specifically, if going to use wordpress? Thanks! Shoul
This was on my recommended for some reason. Don't get me wrong, this is an amazing video, and in the next month or two I'm probably going to have to come back here, but gg
@@CreateaProWebsite Sir can you tell a cheap and true hosting?. I brought 2 hostings listening to other youtubers and both of them turned out to be fake. They deleted my account without my permission. I lost a lot of money. It was hard the first time and second time I was just devastated. I know popular ones too, but they have a lot of packages and its very complicated to choose one and I don't know which one to buy. I want to do practical physics game-like website.
Hey. I just want to become a freelancer, and so I need a website (place) for my potential customers. What do I do after buying the hostinger? After designing my website I mean. Do I have to pay in google sites as well to make it visible to google? I am pretty new.

To get the free domain and emails and SSL, you have to sign up for the Premium Shared Hosting Plan. You still get the 78% off of the plan when you use my link to sign up. If you choose the single shared hosting plan, the free domain, email, and SSL are not included unfortunately.
9:35 I decided to go with Hostinger, but before I made my final click to pay for the service, I went shopping for Coupons. I watched some other recently posted reviews, but while they said that they offered a coupon code, it was in reality just a link -- which took me to Hostinger's Premium package AT THEIR CURRENT "Discount" rate, which did not help me upgrade to the Business account. Yours was the only review with an actual copy and paste Coupon Code -- saved me like $19! Thank you! Nice job on the reviews too.
That's awesome! I am so glad to hear the coupon code worked for you and saved you that hard earned cash! Thanks for using the link and I wish you the best with your website. You got this!
Thankfully I found your video, I almost signed up with godaddy but the “help” from support stopped me, and now I understand why. Price was beyond any understanding but I have registered the domain name with them, and kind of concerned what to do next. Would you recommend me to transfer the domain name somewhere else?
Yea, you can always transfer a domain name and move to another provider. I agree, the price is high and the service just isn't there. If you move your domain name though, keep in mind that there is a wait time to do so. Just a part of the process. You can always have a domain name with one provider, and hosting with another provider but its always nice to have them both under the same provider. you are also paying more for your domain with godaddy than you would with other providers so it is up to you.
