James shocked his partner with a surprise engagement using the piano at London's St Pancras International. Luke had no idea he was about to be involved in the most romantic wedding proposal of the year.

I was so great to see so many people supporting them wasn't long ago that this could not have happened. Hard to believe there was a time we had to hide our love. Now we can openly enbrace our love, get married even have kids! My how far we have come! Wish them the best!

What a special moment... tears flowed when the guy in white shirt realized it was all for him... 😢 It brought back memories of my first relationship, when my ex gave me a ring at Christmas. I’m so happy I get I live this times too, where two adult can share their lives doesn’t matter what gender they are. There’s still a lot to do but we’re getting there, eventually.

This is one of the countless reasons I love my country, I am currently living in China and not seen my home city of Manchester for 2 1/2 years. The UK is not perfect but trust me it is a hell of lot better than most countries for a gay man to live in.

I hope they know how wonderful this is. My BFF didn't live long enough to see all people in love allowed to marry. He lived with his "boyfriend" for 30 yrs and at Gary's death he had no rights at all. It was so devastating. Thank God for a Gay mortician. He snuck my friend a little of his lovers ashes to him. The family wouldn't even say where they were burying the body.
