Thanks for your review! I was really torn between the two brands, and despite watching many reviews on Chinese social media (though most were ads), they failed to mention the cons that you picked up!

Thanks for your review. I'm currently trying to replace my old corded bissel vac/mop for a better working cordless one. After reading reviews on different websites about vac/mops I went to youtube to see if someone compared the roborock dyad pro and dreame H12 luckily I found you and the thorough review you gave. For me personally I like the features of the Dyad but am disappointed that the drying feature does not work as advertised. I am going to buy the Dyad since it has more features than the Dreame and is currently cheaper as well.

Glad you found my review helpful! And indeed, we share that same disappointment. But I too still like (and personally use) the Dyad, despite the missing heating. If you do decide to purchase it, there’s an affiliate link in my video description-would appreciate if you use that link to support the channel! Cheers, Rawan

hi this video is great. im in the market for a vac/mop AND a decent portable stick vac I can use to sweep up clay litter and do the odd couch/carpeted stair/car cleanup as I only have a clunky corded heavy vacuum now. i’ll either pick up A. the dyad pro combo B. the dreame h12 pro dual I think it’s called? or C. the dreame h12 pro and maybe a dreame r10/20 stick vac. my question is which do you think is a better buy. I am disappointed about the dyad pro heated drying being a grift but im wondering if you think it outperforms by such a margin it’s worth manual drying every time. ps: I looked at at tineco s7 combo set but I can’t see why it’s so priced so much higher so it’s out. thank you your work is really solid here on youtube!! edit: rn the dreame kit is 400 and the roborock kit is 650 which seems high but maybe the vacs are better not sure

After using it for 5 days, I encountered a strange error message regarding the temperature being too high, even though it was not mentioned in the user manual. I had to return the product to the seller for further inspection. However, I must say that the cleaning performance was exceptional, surpassing manual cleaning by far.

Hi Van. I'm from Vietnam, too. I am about to buy the Dyad Pro. I think you have been using it for a while, so can you tell me how is the product? is it helpful and durable? I have some worries about the battery life and the streak in the middle of the front rollers. I look forward to your reply. Thank you very muchhhh

The dyad barefaced lied saying it uses hot air to dry. Looks wise it looks old! The dreame looks like a pro. Clean sleek lines will blend into many decor. And it actually uses hot air and and actually dries in less than a hour. It's a no brainer for me i will just activate it when I use my washing machine so same noise as I am used too. I will manually clean it as I like a deep clean and use machine to dry it. As naturally dry time would be about 24hrs in my house
@kirtandrews1859
@kirtandrews1859 6 месяцев назад
Quick update owned the dreame h12 pro now for 2 months. Using daily on high traffic areas with 5 dogs all with long hair plus me. There is no negative I can think off. Noise is not a issue it makes some noise when it's spinning it back and forth during self clean after that it just softly rotates the brush so it dries equally. After 2 mo the I should be starting ti smell stale smells. But I've inspected it many times there is zero trace of dirt left behind after self clean nowhere for the dirt to collect and turn stale. My last machine you would run self clean then need to hand wash roller and collection bin and I would smell stale within first week of use. I should add. That I do add a cap full of sanitizer zoflora that type of thing with every new water tank. I think this keeps the germs at bay. I can not fault this machine at all

Thanks for a great comparison. Can you please tell me if the dyad needs the filter cleaned after each use or just self clean and deep clean every few weeks. I can't seem to find a answer to this. Does the filter get wet like others and need to come out for rinse and air dry after each use. Thanks so much!

It does not. I believe older models might have had this problem, but not this. Doesn’t get wet nor does require daily cleaning, but just once in a while.

I appreciate your review. I ordered the Dyad Pro but unfortunately it left terrible horizontal streaks on my light gray LVP floors. Maybe it was the cleaner, but it required manual mopping to remove. I have sent it back. It may have just been a defective machine, but I wonder if the dual rollers are to blame. Any knowledge/opinion of the Dyad Air? Flex Pro?
@RawansReviews
@RawansReviews 3 месяца назад
Weird that you had streaks like that. I haven't tested the Air or the Flex, but given they have single brushes, there's a good chance they don't leave streaks. I will try to get my hands on the Flex Pro when it's out and make a video review of it--make sure you subscribe to get notified when I do! Cheers

Hi, i really like you reviw, very good and complete. I want ask you, the cleaning mode is efficient better in witch machine? Not the heating process (that work only in the dreame) but only cleaning the brushes. I have 2 children and for me is very important don't have to extra clean every time. Thank you very much

Very good comparison and this video is on my short list to do on my chanmel as well. I have come to a pretty similar conclusion in the end of your video and if the H12 Pro had app control and detergent injection it would be the clear winner for me. The Dyad Pro as you may know will not get under the baseboards in my kitchen or bathroom which makes the usefulness of the machine a bit less for me, but I know that is not a problem for everyone. I do understand where you are coming from with the hot air topic. I measured a roller temp increase of 12 degrees f after 15 minutes which is not as effective as the H12 Pro. On a side note I moved the H12 Pro out of my living room due to the drying noise so there is always a trade-off, as is between these 2 cleaners in general. Keep up the good work!
@RawansReviews
@RawansReviews 10 месяцев назад
Thanks again Jamie. Only wish we could get the best of both worlds; the heat of the H12 Pro but the noise level of the Dyad Pro… Shouldn’t be too hard to accomplish..!

I honestly don’t see the value in app control. It’s a nice to have but once you install it, who is really going to use it? On a robo vacuum, absolutely it makes sense..you need an app, but not a hand operated unit IMHO.
@jamie.andrews
@jamie.andrews 5 месяцев назад
@@TheLumberJacked the bigger deal is that with app control you can apply firmware updates. I have already applied a few. Plus there are many customizable setting that are pretty helpful in the app.

Could you compare the incline angle of each for vacuuming under beds? Also, do you think it would be harder or easier to deal with eventual battery death in either model? I haven't been able to find a way to search mop vacuums for replaceable batteries as most aren't designed for customers to swap batteries, but it may come down to how the hardware disassembles and customer service, repair centers, warranties. I would love to have a machine that doesn't need to be landfilled after a few years of use. The Dreame's combo model makes me think that maybe it would be easier to replace the part of the machine with the battery without having to toss the whole thing...
@kirtandrews1859
@kirtandrews1859 6 месяцев назад
Hello there we both think the same. With my model the dreame h12 pro. We can change the batteries out. Essentially you are popping off the led display and under that sits the battery. One would presume we can purchase a replacement battery easily enough from dreame or a after sales chanel. The battery life on this machine is incredible I get a solid hour in both auto mode and sanitise mode.

The streak isn't a problem on the dyad? when the floor dries, are streaks present? I can live with a sub-par drier since I live in the desert, but a streaked floor is a no-go.
@RawansReviews
@RawansReviews 11 месяцев назад
The streak only happens if you're going over a large mess. That's because some of that large mess gets on the plastic in between the 2 brushes. But again that only happens with large messes (and I only saw it with the stress test I did during my review--never in any actual day-to-day cleaning) But then if this does happen, all you have to do is go over it one more time and it's gone. I go over my floors with the Dyad once or twice a week, never any streaks there. Hope this helps!

Thanks for your comment. I would say it should be fine, though I’ve never tried it on that. The streak is only noticeable for me when cleaning a big mess, and it’s gone if you run the Dyad brush another time over it.

Also curious if you noticed or know of reviews comparing these models' performance with human hair and pet hair. The Dreame model presents a special roll for keeping hair from tangling on the rollers, which has been an issue with our dyson and roomba. On the other hand, when you're vaccuuming up lots of various types of hair, I imagine it would make a difference to have a filter to separate those clunks and spare the drain...
@kirtandrews1859
@kirtandrews1859 6 месяцев назад
Hello I have the dreame h12 pro. It does indeed have a hair separator I have long hair myself and have 5 doggies with long hair. It deals with them as if they were not there. The trick is the suction it is the same suction as a dyson or even stronger. So it does not have chance to get stuck. Then in the collection bin. You just tip it straight down toilet or sink. Hair is not a issue at all for the dreameh12 pro

I wanted a device that could create sanitizing water, had interchangeable batteries and had large capacity tanks but none of the options available (Proscenic, Ultenic, etc.) had replacement parts ready for delivery on my area - . I got the Dyad pro mainly because of parts availability and being on sale about $200 less than the Dreame. What I like is build quality, android app and decent performance for my needs on ceramic tile floor where I mainly collect dust. What I dislike is the gap in the front rollers that leaves a streak and I need to do a 2nd pass; battery performance was less than expected but it looks like most of those devices are the same in that regard.
