In my opinion, this is the best wetsuit for scuba diving. What wetsuit should you buy? What thickness and temperature do you need? Which are the best brands?

CAUTION-1 mil wetsuits are very expandable and can act as a sea anchor as my dive buddy learned today. After scuba diving off a boat in the Caribbean, he stripped down to the waist legs only and jumped back in to “pre-rinse” his wetsuit. BUT a mild surface current filled the legs like a balloon due to the pliability of the 1 mil. and started to pull him under as it had very little buoyancy and also pulled him away from the boat. He grabbed the stern bouy line and was pulled in. But, be aware or this potential danger. ⚠️

You should try BARE or EXO, they even better. Also if a person gets really cold, consider an open cell suit instead of a closed cell

There is a product called odoban. I don’t know if you can get it where you live. I used to work in a factory and my clothes smelled, even after washing. A capful of odoban and it would kill the smell. It also disinfects

When you think about it, you begin your dive by spiting in your mask. Then underwater you do reg exchange exercices with your diving body. When emptying your mask you will have some boogers floating around. back on the boat a guy on a hangover might trow up overboard. On the beach a perfect stanger might need to help you for the sunscreen on your sweaty back. So basically diving is not for the fint of hart.

Can I wear wetsuits and dive gloves and dive hoods and dive boots and dive fins dive masks and scuba tanks and bcds and regulators to breath from and breath underwater with my mom friend Marty for warm water diving

No wetsuit will keep you warmer then a seacsub komoda 🙂. My favourite by far. Though admitedly havent tried the everflex and i kind of want to now to see the difference with donning and doffing

I have never tried that one! How warm is it? I definitely want to try it on. Genuinely, the getting it on and off is what sold me.

I had it for about 40 dives and I loved it until it got to small for me 😅 but I changed it for a waterproof w4 and I just love the quality of the waterproof suits. Tough and reliable. 🤙

hi, scuba newbie here, what do you think about fourth element wetsuit? I already have everflex 5mil but found out that it's little too much when diving on tropic countries

I personally haven't had much experience with them, but for tropical countries, you should be comfortable in a 3mm!

I strongly recommend Harvey's wetsuits. Unlike fourth element and scubapro, they are made in U.S.A.

@@OceanPancake no problem my dear! :) and i'll have to check out more of your vids. i'm not a diver but i am a recreational ROV pilot and spend a fair amount of time "under" the surface, seeing a lot of the same kinds of crap as you would when you dive. disgusting what people throw out, isn't it. Pete :)

Underwater, water conducts heat away from your body up to 20 times faster than air. Therefore you need to stay warm.

What if you're between sizes? Like in my case. Most brands show S or even XS for my Height. But my weight tends to put me into a M. Which is Usually too long. And baggy. Example. I tried a Neosport X Span. S. Which was a bit baggy. The XS fits better. But leaves little to the imagination.

This is a really great question! I would definitely always opt for the smaller option. I just bought a new one, and it fit nicely, but then I lost some weight and now its massive on me! The wetsuit does loosen up a little bit after wearing it for a while!

@@OceanPancake Hey Katt. When I was l laid off on Aug 5 I weighed roughly 170 pounds. Just started a new job on Sept 10. I somehow managed to loose about 14 pounds in 5 weeks.
