Great video! I had the same issues with 2 bolts on the front passenger side, they got stripped and I couldn't get them out! I just left them in the rotors and slapped the spacer on, drove like that and there was vibration at 60-70mph. Then, saw your video and used your tip with the T40. I was able to get them both out! With the future classic bolts holding the spacer down, I think the vibration is about 95% gone, I probably need an alignment and balance but it's so much better. THANK YOU!
How did the vibration go away? Did you get road force balance or fixed by simply re-installing it again? How did re-installing solve the issue? Curious, Thanks!
I had a tiny bit of vibration at like 82mph after initial install, so I took them back off an reinstalled them. Properly torquing each lug nut down. I tighten each one in stages - 50% tighten all of them, then go back and tighten each to 75%, then tighten to 95%, then use my torque wrench and tighten to 100%. The seemed to fix it. But a proper road force balance will definitely fix it permanently.
I got Turner motorsports spacers on my car I had a way to fix the vibration but since I did the stud conversion I cant used that method anymore so I cant get the vibration 100% to go away anymore so that's why I'm asking b4 a spend 150 buck to get the same vibration I have now
david baez I had some vibration when I initially installed. But then I took them back off and reinstalled and it seems fine now. I think majority of the issue with vibration can be solved by road force balancing. Maybe try that before buying new spacers.
