Very nice. Great ideas for winter getaway. Trying to plan my 50th birthday in december. Want to do something different. I was thinking of a ski trip, new york few ideas. It can be a family trip also. Any more ideas....let me know.

Don't agree with this list as being the 'best' winter vacations. Vail sucks. It's sits right next to a major freeway and it's just a ski village. And Durango is nice but there are way better places in Colorado for a winter vacation like Telluride, Estes Park, Breckenridge. Jackson Hole never appealed to me because the mountains surrounding it are mostly barren of trees.

Thankyou 🥰 Visited Longmont and Boulder Co went to the Mountains near the ski resort but never visited those places. Is Breckenridge an inexpensive place to visit I know the expenses has increased over the years which location is nice yet reasonable in price????
