Please review more Korean skin care brands. Based on the ingredients, do you think Pyunkang Yul calming line and acne line is decent for skin of colour ? The appearance of my skin and overall hydration has improved a lot since switching to Korean skincare. I was using La Roche posay and Avene before and didn't see much results Thank you

I can’t thank you enough for all your hard work in communicating the safest and most effective products for skin of color. there have been products you have mentioned that I mistakenly used and gotten reactions from (la roche posay acne serum made my skin red and burn, the ordinary serum was a huge mistake) I’ve been in tears because it seems to work fine for all my friends with white skin, wondering what’s wrong with me and if I’ll ever find anything right. Hello doctor. You are awesome ❤. Just one heartfelt request , please please please look at the ingredient list of 2 more Indian brands ie CHEMIST AT PLAY and DERMA CO. Please look at their face washes and serums specially the ones formulated for oily skin and tell if it’s a good product or not. These brands are actually the only ones in India which provide a number of percentages and options in their products to choose from at an affordable rate. Please investigate these 2.

Dr. V, could you please tell me which one of these is better. AmLactin Intensive Healing Body Cream - 12 oz Tub - 2-in-1 Exfoliator and Moisturizer for Dry Skin with 15% Lactic Acid and Ceramides for 24-Hour Moisturization Or CeraVe Moisturizing Cream with Pump for Normal to Dry Skin, Combo Pack: 16oz Pump&1.89oz Travel Size I used Lume deodorant, which actually WORKS for odors anywhere on your body. But the one major issue with this product is that it literally burns your skin if your skin is wet or damp. So, now I'm trying to heal the skin I've used LUME. My underarms, under and between my breast, between thighs, under fupa, creases of underwear, vulva. I said again it works. However, now I have skin burns in ALL of these area. FYI for anyone using LUME. Please make sure the areas that you are going to apply LUME DEODORANT is COMPLETELY DRY!!!!! Because I'm a Black Woman this also makes these burns problematic. The AmLactin heaing ointment is helping. I also has hyperpigmentation and Hyperhidrosis(underarms, under & between breast, groin, butt, hands, feet, head and upper lip) Dr. V, please do a review on natural deodorants that actually work, plus a LUME DEODORANTS REVIEW. I have LUME cream, solid, wipes, body wash, soap and lotion. My daughter has had the same reactions. 😢 Thanks, Dr. V

Dr V, can you review the BIOBALANCE RETINOL’E SUPER SERUM PURE RETINOL 0.3% + VITAMIN E 2%. I currently live in Senegal, West Africa. In mid December I bought you book skin revolution off Amazon and also ordered facial cleansers, toner, moisturiser, vitamin C, retinol etc from some of your recommedtions from utube. I got them offAmazon and it's quite an expensive process for me to get them here. However there was the biobalance brand I saw in the pharmacies which could work because I cannot sustain buying on amazon from this side. Thanks love all your videos very informative and eye opening, practical.

I sparingly use Differin gel when needed; however, I find when I deter from my skincare routine I get cystic acne. Thankfully, I use your products so the hyperpigmentation is kept to a minimum. Can you post the spot removal steps that you used in one of your shorts? You had a photo shoot and the makeup irritated your skin. Thanks. You are still a friend in my head.

Hi Doc! I am from the Philippines. The vast majority of people's skin tone here is on the darker side. Unfortunately, we still have the mentality that white skin is more beautiful. Hence, a lot of local brands come up with glutathione, kojic acid products, etc. Would love to know the science behind it, if it is safe and effective. If so, please let us know your recommendations. I know that this isn't a major concern for most of your followers but it'd be great if you could enlighten us about this. Thank you!

This video was incredibly helpful, but I wanted to ask you: can you recommend some Halal collagen supplements that are not scams and are actually good? I spent hours searching through Amazon in the US, but I am not sure which one does not have pork or ingredients that are haram. There were some collagens labeled "Halal," but they looked sketchy. I want to buy collagen for my 60-year-old mom to enhance her already beautiful skin and make her joints better. I am a dry skin person so acne is never something I had to deal with, other than the odd breakout once or twice a year, but I like watching your vids and as a doctor I see a lot of patients who come in for acne treatment, and almost all of them ask about skincare as well, I use Differin and also Epiduo a lot. I love glow recipe though, they are one of my favourite brands and I have used almost all their products, as they smell so nice and have cute packaging. Although fragrance does not affect my skin so I don't mind it, but yeah their products are probs not best for skin sensitive to fragrance.
