I found a Mustang Money 2 game with a $200 minor MHB that was at $197.36. I feed about $200 into the machine. It finally hit at $199.73. I had the excitement of finally hitting a MHB Progressive but didn't really win anything! "Don't Chase"....Good advice

🤠 Brantley, thanx for your'e help again. This episode is very informitive to me ! I have been getting caught up in chasing the Buff. Assension, and the Con Trio pigs $lot$. Thanx to my bankroll, I have lasted long enough to win, but yes, sometimes it took too long, but other times I nailed it right away. I only play if I see the arrows up high, or walk by and see someone left those Con Trio pigs real big ! 🐖🐷

Buffalo Ascension has brought me the best luck at the Horseshoe in Westlake, LA., Harrah's Ak Chin in Arizona, and this week on a Carnival cruise where a $1 bet hit a $1200 jackpot. Love this slot! The key on these is to calculate the must hit buys, however you want to low roll these slots to tip the progressive when you are grinding them. For example if its going to 750$ worth of bets to guarantee the hit, bet 50 cents to minimize your losses before you hit. Most slots payback about 90%, however volatility plays a way bigger role when you have fewer spins on big bets. For example if its going to take $750 of bets to guaruntee the progressive if you are betting 50 cents, evem if you run bad you will probably only lose 100 or 200 dollars before popping a $500 progressive. On the other hand if you are max betting $5, you could easily run cold and lose more than the progressive pays out. All things being equal, I'd rather guarantee profit by low rolling than risk getting torched on a big bet.

Slots don't have skill based games (unless you're playing video poker). You just put in your money, choose your bet, and push the button. The machine does the rest. No skill needed whatsoever.

The Ainsworth must-hit-by-$10,000 progressives will take $50,000 worth of bets to increase the progressive by $100, so keep that in mind while playing. It's nice to play once it gets closer to the max, but as mentioned in this video it is a big risk to chase it and not as easy as you might think without knowing exactly how much money it really takes to get closer to the max.

@@ryanbrandt5404 your comment makes me think that the machines can be set to specific thresholds for increasing. At my local casino, it's $500 per dollar wagered for the Major (at $10,000). I've counted :) I haven't checked the minor though - I usually don't care too much about that one.

I've tried chasing it and found it to be too tough. Got to have a bigger bankroll. A woman did tell me though while I was playing Rhino Rumble that she won the 10 grand recently so it's worth it when you have the money and the number is high.

So it can take $75K of spins for the Major and $25K of spins for the minor to grow by $100. We probably need at least $30K bankroll to guarantee the Major if it’s $100 away with no guarantee that we’ll be ahead when we get the Major. It might be worth the chase when it’s a $100 away to increase your tier. Looks like I have to have my bank branch in Vegas order $30K for withdrawal 1 week prior to my next trip to Vegas, in a rare chance that a Major is at $9,900.

Tried regal riches a couple times and found exactly what you said. It can take a very long time to hit the "must hit" number. I do still check the machines a few times because every once in a while you will find someone left it with 8+ blue wilds and then I find it's worth it's worth playing until they hit. Also not a fan of the games with multiple different bonuses. Just seems like unless you get a double pop they can be pretty underwhelming as usually two of the three arent very good on their own.

Regarding the "must hit by" progressives, I did not know the next hit by amount is set at the exact second the current progressive is hit. This explains why the progressive is sometimes hit long before the must hit by amount is reached. Theoretically, you could have back-to-back hits, I guess. Thanks for the explanation of advantage slots.

I believe most of the Ainsworth games are set to trigger VERY near the top possible number. It is NOT a linear function. Only play these if the meter movement will guarantee you will get to the must hit by number soon enough to cover your investment. You'll probably wind up losing 20% of your bets while playing. So if you find one that is VERY near the top possible value, you should play it, but otherwise avoid them because your chances of hitting it early is effectively zero.

Love buffalo ascension, there are 2 arrows in the middle reel, 1 is for regular super stampede. and the other is for the progressive jackpot, and yes the 'progressive jackpot' is extremely hard to hit, and the progressive arrow only appears when you grow up the reel by regular arrows, so you can enter the 'super stampede with just arrow growth, the ' progressive yellow arrow is hard to hit, not sure what the chance are but it's there, i have gotten a hand pay of $1500 form $1 bet

The true way to play advantage slots and win every time is to find the ones with the sticky symbols that turn wild on spin 10, Look for dummies who left guaranteed wins just sitting there, you do this by going through all of the denominations, you may have to check multiple machines before finding one, or could find 2 back to back, or none. If you see someone left it after spin 9 with sticky symbols in guaranteed pay positions, you can't lose, they didn't understand how the game works and you get paid guaranteed with one spin, a bit riskier is if you see a guaranteed win but there is more than one spin required, there is still an advantage in some cases with these, but not 100% guaranteed like my first example..

I do like playing regal riches mostly for the entertainment factor, but all you're playing for is the wilds cause the line pays do suck pretty bad. I'm pretty good at stopping myself from falling into the chase trap tho no matter what game it is, that can really drain your bankroll. I caught myself last week doing it until I realized what I was doing and made myself move on. Someone else sat down and started doing it and it didn't pay him either.

Buffalo Ascension: I only play it if these conditions are met: Reel 2: 1 away. Reel 3: 1 or 2 away. Reel 4: 1 or 2 away. If these conditions are met I will designate an amount to use (typically the 100 spins rule) and only use that. Buffalo Ascension's 1st and 5th reels are only 3 high and never grow; those DRASTICALLY cut down on your line hits to float the gameplay while trying to trigger the bonus features. Buffalo Ascension does have a 'surprise' feature that is exceedingly rare, but will force a reel to the top; I've only had it happen when a reel is 1 away, though. I stop IMMEDIATELY when one of the above conditions fails the check. I also never play expecting the middle reel to hit nor do I chase it.

The problem with the Buffalo Ascension machine is that there are very aggressive advantage players that scout that machine at my local casino and they literally stand on top of people playing that machine and make sure no one else can play the advantage machines when they exist.

Alot of people consider Buffalo Diamond an advantage slot based on how the amount of free games build by the bet. Only problem is the games can build indefinitely. However, generally speaking it's a good play when the games are high. Just got to be careful as I've seen people put in 5K+ chasing high games.

The pigs getting bigger is not important, but the number of games or wild symbols is important. "Rich Little Piggies" is an advantage play. I don't know the cutoff numbers, but the EV for the player rises as the number of games associated with the blue pig goes up.

The blue pig (free spins) can go up to 100 it says in the rules. You need the blue & yellow jackpot to hit at the same time. I got burned chasing it when the jackpot spins hit but not free spins

I made a mistake not chasing the purple bonus 30 in Rumble rocket. Like you were saying it’s not consistent, but the machine was so hot. The power booster kept hitting back to back and eventually it cleared both the green and blue bonus. Since it was not consistent, I decided not chasing, but some guy did and walked away with $400. Not sure how much he put in but he did get a great deal of bonuses as well. He chases for hours I suppose.

I always do a stroll through before I decide on a slot. The casinos where I’m at, they do this sneaky thing were they have three or four of that devil slot with the big wheel. And it looks like it’s about ready to hit, everything is on fire. But what they don’t tell you is there are two or three groupings of that machine throughout the casino so instead of playing against two other people it’s ten plus people. So you gotta make a walk around and check the jackpots. And check the jackpots of similar games across the casino.

One thing to add about Ascension is that the odds change when the reel grows. So although it may take some time to get the final arrow, there are more pay lines during that time.

Class II must hit by $70 I played for a long time when the amount was at $62- it moved SLOWLY at $4 Max bet I’d alternate lower- lowest bet was 40 cents (but I kept getting good line hits that kept me afloat) - it finally hit the $70 when it was at $69.68 ! Then reset to $40 - it was a bit of an experiment I wanted to see through to the end, after all, $62 seemed close to $70 lol- it did put me ahead with the good line hits & Minor

🤔🤔 Sage adivce I wish I leaned in my younger days… I used to call it chasing the Rabbit.. The game I spent time on was called Totem Pole… Four slot machines stacked upon each other. The fifth dollar was to combine the total of each machine.

I call the the slots mentioned potential AP machines" and I personally don't waste my time playing them. Newer machines have replaced these must hit slots. Wheel of Fortune, Golden Jungle, are two of the more popular ones, so much so, that I have seen players virtually waiting behind the person playing, hoping they will leave the machine in an advantage mode. I don't approve of this, but in Vegas, it's become a very competitive horse race. Perhaps you can comment on this on your next video.

I’ve chased Regal Riches bonuses twice. Hit for $100 more than I put in once. And hit for $600 more than I put in once. However, if I see a machine with 7 or 8 blue wilds on it, I’ll definitely play and then cash out. I’ve ended up with more money on that kind of quick hit in and out.

For Buffalo Ascension, if you read the game rules it says the odds of the arrow appearing change depending on the reel height and the prize, so it is definitely not a advantage slot! When the reels are higher they make the arrow harder to hit so the RTP is still the same! And even if you get the feature they rig it so if the reels are high the feature doesn't give you any buffalos. Love seeing the "advantage players" getting their ass kicked at this game after they harassed some poor player off the game.

I’ve seen you never press on the button before the spin ends, I tried to stop it before and from time to time its getting me more bonus rounds / features rounds . As you never do that it means it’s not working, but I was wondering if it’s still working

Fast stopping the reels does not affect the outcome of the game. This is listed in the game rules. I have an entire episode that explains how the feature works in the library if you'd like to learn more.

Great video 👍. Is it true that "rule of thumb",lower graphics design machines are normally lower volatility? Someone mentioned that to me. I actually like wolf run and Noah's ark😁. Payback "per roll" percentage seems to be better than most machines. I go to the casino with my wife and friends because of the restaurant and entertainment, not so much to get rich 😊, although it's nice to leave with at least what I came with. Lunch is normally comped with points 😁👍❤️.

Well Brantley I can say today for the first time in my life I went to a casino sorta local to me and played double top dollar no bonus and pinball double gold both $1 denomination well pinball was .25 .50 and 1.00 played pinball double gold on a 1.00 denomination 10 max bet got the pinball bonus won 150 had 100 in machine but in the end lost 700 in other machines oh well had fun on pinball

i'd say Buff Ascension type of games (reminded me of Hexbreaker 3 where each col can grow until you 'hit' the top of the col prize...more like a Volatile play slot, not really sure if i'd call it as advantage play...

I have had a lot better results with Regal Riches than with Buffalo Ascension. With Regal Riches, I can tell pretty closely what a bonus will pay. With Buffalo there is such a wide range a stampede (or free game bonus) can pay, that there is no way of telling if it is worth playing.

Buffalo Ascension can be very lucrative if you catch it in the right mood. The 3X5 bonus cam be EXTREMELY lucrative as well. I believe it is a advantage slot IF the reels are almost all the way up. DON'T play if the reels are at 1084 ways!!

I make way more $ on must hit by progressive games like lobster larry, $ storm and coyote moon then the ainsworth games. Ll $s and cm are very easy to hit profit on. With up to 1000x line hits that are shockingly regular to hit (compared to other slots). You left out long push (my largest soucrce of profit), hexbreaker (12 dozen times ive won the progressive all profit), jolly 8's- many times ive put a single dollar in that game and pulled over $100 out. Ive shockingly had great luck with ufl cash falls too. Its shocking cuz of how volitile that game is. I usually dont touch high volitility games. But that one has payed me more than it has taken.

The buffalo games (all versions ) and these ones that are listed are the worst games to lose money on. Don't be fool. There's advantage slots , but you need to know how to play conservatively and when to play aggressively and when to walk when you win! You need to know how to read each machine and each game to know what kind of edge you have to win. And those Progressive For extra bonus or rewards are just Marketing strategy to trick people that they will trigger that bonus and or progressive.

I played firecracker one game exactly once. Needed 1 more firecrack on each one ( had no idea about them). Then a person sat down on the other machine, and 1 spin and the firecrackers went roaring all the way to the top on each bunch. And she won a big bonus. So none of those games are for me. Thanks for the info. There are some older hit by games at a casino I go to Laughlin. I have seen the number go to $49.98 for the mini $50. Or the $500 top one go to $499.89. Yet all the locals camp on these 6 machines all day. After many years one gets to know the locals.

1st time I played the Firecracker game, I won by dumb luck thinking that the Firecrackers were ready to pop at any moment so kept increasing the bets then finally hit a Triple Pop bonus (VERY LUCKY) at the max bet at dimes ($49.50?) after ~$1,500 in. I hit a $4,750 jackpot! $3,250 profit. After that, I learned that they are totally random.

I wish you would do a video on the slots that have a countdown timer while your playing to where you have a chance at getting a special bonus within that say 3 minute period. I can't think of a name of one of them off of the top of my head but I've played them before, and don't like them. Explain how tgey are a huge rip off and house advantage because it encourages you to spin as fast as you can within the time period
