moment of appreciation to say: these videos are seriously so informative, well thought out and unbiased! and to have swatches, face swatches, comparisons... just on point!!
Love how detailed you are explaining things but yet it’s not overkill. Also, not just explaining everything as blinding and that being it of the review lol.
Yay you got the flower highlight! So the “deeper” shade (I think it’s called ablaze) has hardly any base pigment as well and would actually work on fair skin! I know it looks intimidating in the pan but when you put it on it blends and leaves the everrr so slightest warm glow. I’m only about 2 shades deeper than you in my skin tone and it didn’t even leave a cast of color or anything. Even drew Barrymore used it on her IG and she’s pretty fair! Just a tid bit of info. It could be good to pick up as a highlight for the summer♥️
Omg I never seen anyone talk about the aoa illuminating primer! Literally my HOLY GRAIL! I love it sooooo much! It’s my perfect everyday highlighter, and if I want a more intense highlight, I use it as a base and than add a powder highlight on top!
arfa ansari shopmissa.com it’s like a dollar store makeup website. Aoa studios is like their line. I’ve bought a lot from there and they have really good stuff especially since it’s only a dollar. Their brushes and their cream blushes are REALLY good
I got this based on Amanda's video and holy SHIT it's so good!!!! I have never found such a beautiful, dewy highlight for SO CHEAP. People keep complimenting on my "perfect skin" and it's my highlighter LOL
Guys! How's the wear time on them? Do they rub off/come off easily? I know it's just a $1 but I've been trying to not get make up I won't love, you know what I mean? 🙉🥺🥴. I love that people are loving it!
@@AmandaZ I'm order it as we speak. I've never tried it before because of the super blindness of its shine, but mixining it to dilute it is a genious idea!
Super helpful series! I found it a little difficult to see the texture of the highlighter on your cheek, maybe try lowering the exposure in those moments?
I need to try your technique with Flexitarian! My problem with it was that it was way too metallic for me so I could only use it as an eyeshadow. But mixing it with a primer sounds like a great idea.
One of the best highlighter in depth reviews of all times! Love the amount of care and attention you put into these videos! Thank you, you're amazing! 🤩 💜
Thank you for everything basically. Your videos have helped me save so much money! The on-point recommendations and the unbiased reviews are exactly what I want from a beauty channel and I finally found both! Everything in your channel is amazing, and most importantly, you. You're such an honest person while making your subscribers feel welcome. Thank you for everything!
I love that you post long videos with lots of products. One stop shopping on your channel. Thanks so much for always swatching and showing us on your own skin. I trust your recommendations so much. Keep the videos coming! 💕💕💕
This video may be going on 2 years old but I'm so glad to come across it - thank you for sharing a way that I can actually use my flexitarian highlight; I'm going to be mixing it with the patrick ta glow balm now because that balm looks good when I first put it on but then my skin absorbs it and it's gone - both problems solved now thanks to seeing this!
Your videos are so informative for a makeup newbie like me. It can be overwhelming to figure out which products are worth the spend so I appreciate your video a ton! You also remind me of a young version of Sara Paulson 😊
This was great to watch, I wish more of these were available here in Australia 😭all the ones I want to try isn't except the loreal one which I have already gotten. However I know now what I can ask friends to pick up for me next time they are allowed to travel, when ever that will be 😏
Do you have Rimmel? I know that Lab muffin(who lives in Australia) reviewed the Rimmel Provocalips line. Anyway- they just came out with a Jelly blush, highlighter, and bronzer line. I just got the blush in Melon Madness, which is a neutral watermelon pink.
My favorite liquid highlighter is high beam from Benefit! I have been using it for years. I have a Wet n Wild opalescent one and it is ok but not as good as the Benefit one.
I love your reviews like this! The swatches on the arm and application on the face is so helpful. I really appreciate all the work you put into these videos! Thank you 😃
So, I'm a fan of flexitarian with any liquid medium to use it as a liquid or cream highlighter, or even a shimmery blush. But now, I mixed it with a liquid eyeshadow (glossier skywash in cocoa) and it looks like a very expensive duochrome eyeshadow! I'm gonna play a bit more with every cream and liquid eyeshadow I own :D hope you try it too!
I just ordered the Danessa Myrick clear wet Balm per your recommendation and can't wait to get it! I have been looking for one that doesn't leave a cast of color
have you tried the frank body illuminator? im consider buying it since Mariah Leonard said it woud look good on textured skin but i need to know your opinion 🧐
I used the old revlon skinlights and I was obsessed with it!! I noticed they changed the packaging but I haven’t tried it since they changed it so I’m not sure if they changed the formula…but you’ve convinced me to try it!
I loved the Catrice Dewy Stick and used it everyday for 2 years until we all had to wear a mask 😷 It just cannot survive the mask so I switched to Colourpop.
Thank you for bringing us in close to see the details! 😍 Also: Has anyone actually tried the flexitarian + primer trick yet?? I want to know how it worked for ya’ll.✨
Hey Amanda! I wonder do you have any dewy looking good highlighters from K beauty ? Overall would love to see more from k beauty since they are accessible to everyone in the world and are so much cheaper!:)
This is so helpful because I am fair tone so these work the best and I can only purchase affordable products, Most definitely subscribed to your channel!
Hey Amanda, your videos are amazing, I was wondering if you could answer which one of these looks the most natural in sunlight? If youre still reading comments on your old videos
Loved this vid! Watched it twice and ordered some to try. I have to ask, your auburn hair, do you dye it? If so, could you share your brand/formula? Just stunning 🍑
u mentioned u want to try The wet n wild bronzer stick, I actually don't like it, I just decluttered it yesterday. the formula is on point, but the lightest shade is wayyyy to yellow on my light - medium skin. and the cap cracked on the first day of use haha
I love your videos so much!!! Whenever I’m thinking of a product like a blush or foundation I always go back to see your thoughts first lol. Trying to order an EM serum blush, do you find they’re long lasting? Fav shade? ❤️🤓
I loved this video! I'm definitely adding some of these products to my cart soon lol. Also, have you tried the cream blushes from AOA? I would love to hear your opinion on them 💜💜
Amanda u are the QUEEN BEE!!!! i love your channel! Cream products are my favorite so I thank God for what u do!!!! Thank you soooo so much! Im 42 so I dont have baby skin obviously...cream products save my ass and make me look natural and not too makeupy...but if I want to rock out and get a little more loud I can do that too without it not looking like shit!!.lol..thanks girl for all the tips!!!
Loved this Amanda!! Have you heard of the brand Alleyoop? Their products look so interesting to me and I’m intrigued by the highlighters (along with the bronzers and blushes) in their product called Stack The Odds. I can’t find much info about them (except for the multi-pen product they have) and I would love to know how you think their cream products compare to others!
Kellie Bennett check out Flower Beauty Blush Bombs, SUPER similar to the cloud paints and they have a color called Nectar that replaced Beam for me. Cinnamon is close but almost closer to dusk. and I almost like them more. Better color payoff. Love most of the Flower Beauty line
And a comparison video of all the dewy primers and complexion enhancers etc. Physician’s formula Spotlight illuminating primer, Loreal glotion, L’Oreal lumi liquid illuminator(and all of the other L’Oréal lumi products in this category; they have one in a dropper bottle but I don’t know much about it; I would love to know the differences), Nyx born to glow primer and the born to glow liquid illuminator, L’Oreal pro glow primer, etc.
Hi Amanda! I really enjoy your channel and your makeup style. I just want to point something out and I don't mean to offend you but your bangs are getting a bit distracting, maybe get them pulled back from your face, I think it would be better for video purposes.
