the hera cushion is the GOAT holy grail for me. i wore it to a photoshoot once and the makeup artist was floored at how good it looked, she kept it as my base. also the translucent-medium coverage means it blends more seamlessly with my skin than other cushions (i’m white and fair-skinned and the lightest shade in most cushions makes me look like a GHOST) unfortunately the cost is so significant that i’ve had to look into budget options. my fave so far has been the moonshot micro calming fit, but in terms of colour match and longevity it doesn’t even come close 😭 bye-bye money

agreeed! it is my HG too. I found that the Laneige neo matte cushion is almost similar to hera if you're looking for an alternative option! but of course, nothing will beat Hera's finish

I've never owned a cushion foundation, I've always stuck to some simple bb cream. Though I'd love to try it out but since I don't know much about it, I really don't know which one to pick! I have combo skin, my forehead, nose and chin are oily at the end of the day but my cheeks stay really dry! So I really don't know what to choose haha. Do you have any recommendations that are on the more affordable side? Oh also, how do I shade match when buying a product online? I don't know what my shade is but I'm scared I'll pick a total wrong one lmaoo

Hello, I love your reviews and the espoir cushion foundation is also my favorite. I just want to ask how you prep your skin when applying it cause when I apply it with no prep, it’s quite dry. However, when the skin is prepped it’s nice on the skin but has no longevity and starts disappearing after an hour or so even with powder

thank you! i usually exfoliate, and use serum and moisturizer on slightly damp skin! if i don't do that, then it will get patchy for sure! also applying primer helps too!

Hello! I think it would be great if you could put up a short summary at the end of your rating, pros and cons and maybe hierarchy/ranking? That'd help us decide to try it if ever :) Out of topic but would it be possible to make short video about the cute pimple patches you have? I'd like some cute ones that I could put on top of my make up. I use the normal day use ones (from Some by Mi) but it really pops out when I put my make up on. If you have recommendations how to apply it seamlessly with make up, that would be lovely!

Ty! I usually wash my puffs every 2 days with soap/soak it for 30 min and air dry! Or you could always buy separate puffs that they sell!

Sadly the Hera black cushion didn't work for me 😭 might be due to where i live too (Singapore) and its sooo humid here I sweat so much 😭 it separates really badly with sweat :(

Your reviews are heaven!! I got the romand my melody edition cushion, my skin color is the same as yours, it did not look ligther than others n21, maybe you’ve got a bad batch? I live in south Brazil, the weather is not very extreme the cushion work it really well for me so far, but I haven’t used for more than 6 hours tho. The missha cushions are super popular here, they are super cheap. I tried and really like it, I was Wonder if you have an opinion on those? Especially their velvet cushion. Can wait to see more content from you ❤
