I'm so happy to see your best and worst series starting back up! With all the new drugstore releases these are always so helpful! Thank you for sharing and you look beautiful! Very spring, I love it!!
I love these - your best and worst videos pretty much decide what I'm going to buy because you're always so thorough with a huge variety of products. Thank you!
I've been marathoning your videos and I find myself nodding to what you say about favorites and not so favorites and why you do or don't like them. It's eerie! I just saw your gel liner one and when you said you had found a better liner than the L'oreal lacquer liner I thought, "I wonder if she's going to say Inglot" and you did! I'm pretty much in agreement with all of your insights and since I'm looking for a new foundation (I'm already using the Infallible), I'm definitely going to try the Milani. You are so organized in your thoughts and it's so helpful! Thank you!
+NS Cat Hahaha, good to know I have a twin out there. But seriously, thank you for watching so many of my videos and for sharing your thoughts! I'm so glad that you find them helpful and that we have had similar experiences. I hope the Milani foundation works out for you.
I use the Milani Foundation at work when I'm outside all day scanning baseball tickets to customers. Always long lasting. Light Beige is up my alley shade.
Nathalie, another really informative and useful video. And as I am looking for a new drugstore foundation, its incredibly helpful to hear your analyses. Yours is a channel I rely on for real information and not a lot of silliness one sees in other videos. My favorites are your comparisons. Would love to see a comparson of your favorite combined drugstore and high end foundations and powders. I have random fqvorites in each that evn change according to seqson or condition of my skin. No one ever compares both price groups together and you would do a terrific job!
Thank you, Nathalie. You look so pretty. Your Best and Worst videos have greatly influenced my makeup choices. When in doubt, my default is going to your videos for recommendations. Very helpful. I will definitely try the Milani foundation.
Great reviews! This is the first of your videos I've seen; stumbled upon your channel looking for cover girl foundation reviews. Love your voice and you seem to have a really sweet personality. Subscribed!
I preferred the cover girl simply ageless cc cream instead. The one that you’re doing a review on absolutely accentuated every wrinkle in my face even though I moisturized and primed. I am in my 40s and this was not friendly. I discovered that in my 40s with mature skin I need a water foundation such as tarts rain forest of the sea or bareMinerals complexion rescue. CC n BB creams and tinted moisturizers are wonderful. I add a little powder and possibly a second layer and it just looks beautiful.
I loves this s video. So helpful and thorough I have to agree with you on the Milani foundation it's my favorite from the drugstore Rimmel 25 hour foundation is also REALLY GOOD I use that one when I know it's going to be a long day I hope you do more videos like this!!!! XOXO
Very good video. You get to the point and deliver enough information for the viewer to make a decision to either try the product or to pass on it. Thank you, Carol M.
Damn, I really love the concept of the Revlon foundation with the concealer? Although I'm kind of more into liquid foundations.... Hope they'll come up with something similiar to the Lancome Teint Visionnaire at some point...?
I really like the descriptions you give, my skin type is dry yet you are definitely my go to channel. Do you remember which foundation/primer/setting powder did you used for this vid?
Thanks for this video! I have combo skin and wanted to know the best ones you've tried yet. I use the Milani one and the Maybelline fit me... I was wondering if the CoverGirl Ageless and you convinced me. Thanks! Subbed 🎈🎉
+ThePpffss Thank you! I actually have a couple. Drugstore powder highlighters: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-gyj2hE4OUDk.html It is a little old, but still covers a good amount of drugstore highlighters. Will be doing one in near future that is updated. Drugstore cream/liquid highlighters: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-d2kTWWTj-BI.html (newer) Hope that helps.
I loved the Milani formula, but it was too yellow for me. I usually use a medium-light shade, two to three shades in, so I'm not very fair. I tend to prefer neutral shades, and wish the drugstore would skip the pink and yellow tones. It also broke me out, and I smelled fragrance, although I didn't see it in the ingredients. It's too bad, because it was really good otherwise.
+Sarah Loves Thank you, Sarah! I am wearing a few different Makeup Geek shadows. The colors on the lid are foiled shadows: "Masquerade" & "Caitlin Rose" on the outer V and blended lightly into crease. I am using "Daydreamer" as inner corner highlight and "Unexpected" as my transition shade. This might be more detail than you wanted ; )
The CG foundation has been around for years.. they just keep renaming it. First it was the tone rehab.. then a cc cream.. but it's all the same. CG is sneaky that way. That said.. I adore it, but it's just too moist for my oily skin, I can only wear it when it's truly cold out and that seldom happens where I live. If I had dry skin it would be my HG. Feels amazing, so smoothing, and when I do wear it I get compliments on my skin.
I think I'm the only one that does not like the milinia makeup! I have more mature dry skin and it settled into my fine lines so bad I looked 90 years old!
Nathalie the medium shade in the physicians formula cushion is quite warm i wear a W6 sun beige in loreal true match and it's a good match for me just a tad bit dark but it's no biggie
Your welcome! Ive noticed on me i have to apply it a certain way. Wish they had cheap refills for it to be spending $13 and up for it every othe4 month gets pricey
If you have n ot done so, try the Milani w/ou primer and powder during the hot summer months. Horrible. you could fry chicken on my face at the end of the day. Also when first applied it did not apply matter but dewy but oily dewy. IDK, i know i did not like it during the summer. Ill try it now again since the weather is changing.
+Vonna Sakach Do you mean the Milani? I would say currently my top 3 drugstore are the Milani Conceal + Perfect, L'oreal Infallible Pro Matte, Cover Girl Ready Set Gorgeous. But I have several others I really love as well. Perhaps I will do a video on my absolute favorite drugstore foundations in the near future. Would you be interested?
I just started the Malani. ..at first in the store I put a dab on my hand and it looked soooo thick it scared me away. I did come back and have really liked it so far. yes oily skin here too.
I would like to purchase the Milaini Foundation so bad, I stood in front of the display for an hour the first time I seen it and now, every time I go to CVS because I am not sure what color I would be. Buying foundation is my biggest fear is buying the wrong color because I hate to return products! So I depend on Findation.com to help me narrow down the color when I buy foundations. I even went to Milani's website to read the description of it color and I still couldn't feel confident enough to make a purchase! Just like you said the color differs from the bottle! I noticed that when I was standing their . A staff member unscrewed the cap so we can take a Look at the last 3 shades and I still couldn't figure it out. I would like to get your thoughts or anyone thoughts on the color recommendation. My skin tone is natural, normal ... In MUFE HD foundation I am N125 and Revlon Whipped Colorstay in Medium Beige (Summer Warm Golden) .... Thank you!
try to use primers or treat your skin to make it smooth as you can. Milani foundation is kind of thick, its true!, but it's almost full cover. Always work in your skin care first because your makeup would look flawless. good luck! !
Does it look dry on you or give you a dewy appearance? I've had Loreal Paris for years in the shade Soft Ivory but true match looks dry on my face. So I tried their lumi cushion in the same color and it looked yellow on me... So, I'm thinking about this foundation. I just hope it doesnt look dry after applying it. I couldn't find the shade soft ivory in this, so I'm guessing I should go with Ivory, especially since it seems to oxidize. I'm really just trying to find something that looks dewy on my dry skin and is medium coverage, and drug store.
Hi luv ur videos really luv the painting behind you!! plz help I usually don't wear foundation but I have a very special event coming up. I'm looking for a drug store foundation I have normal skin w large pores n some redness do u have any recommendations. TY
I would recommend the L'oreal Infallible Pro Glow foundation or the Rimmel Lasting Finish Foundation - both give nice coverage and last a good amount of time (8 - 10 hrs) on my combo skin. The Pro Glow gives a beautiful luminous finish without being too dewy/shiny. The Rimmel gives a satin finish which also looks fairly natural for the amount of coverage you are getting. I think both are more forgiving on skin with large pores but I would still recommend a good primer underneath. From the drugstore Rimmel makes a couple good ones and I also like NYX Pore Filler or NYX Angel Veil.
