You had Christian Ponder right there for 2011. At least Blaine Gabbert has made a career as a backup and a spot starter. Ponder has been out of the league since 2014!
I would say that Russell Wilson was the best Quarterback from the 2012 NFL Draft. Bro has a Super Bowl ring, had elite statistical years and is the best Quarterback in Seahawks history.
@@Luv4_fat wilson has a ring when he was still playing. If chad Pennington hadn't fucked his shoulder He would be in the hall of fame But we can talk about what it's for ever let's stick to facts instead
I’m gonna have to disagree with Tim Tebow being the worst quarterback of the 2010 class. He had his moments in 2011. Quarterback Jimmy Clausen would make more sense here… 9:16
@@justinterry2926 Thats not the only factor. Even if it was 1 season, Tebow actually played, won, made the playoffs and won there. Clausen only ever lost and it's not like he was a 4th. He was a 2nd, right behind tebow
Vince Young when you look at the situation with Jeff Fisher. He was doomed. He needed a coach that would have worked with him, but he also needed to grow. I would say Matt Leinart was a bigger bust.
At 1st Michael Vick in 2001 NFL Draft clearly was the BEST because he was a 1st Round 1st overall pick by Atlanta Falcons from Virginia Tech University before the whole dog fighting thing he certainly was the guy you didn't want to miss! 0:44
We went from Brees to QB by committee to Carr. Oh well. I went through Hebert, Shuler, Wilson, Everett, Brooks, to get to Brees. I guess I can wait another 3 decades
Yeah but I don’t really know of anyone who thought he would be a success in the NFL. He went to high school down the street from me and even the people around here knew he was a backup option at best
Good video. As a Falcons fan, I highly dislike Drew Brees. But man, after going to a Falcons Saints game in 2016 and watching Brees warm up pregame, that dude could spin it. It was insane to watch. Out of 40 to 50 warm up throws, every pass was perfect. No receiver had to stretch to try and catch it. It was insane to watch. Probably one of the most accurate passers in history.
If we're looking at pure success during the time he's been in the league, Brock Purdy is simply sensational. Given, he does have a stacked team, so maybe it's too early to give out excessive praise. But he plays smart. Not something you can say about almost any quarterbacks drafted in the seventh round.
Rich Gannon had one good year in Oakland, when he had these two guys… you may have heard of them… Tim Brown and Jerry Rice, then got absolutely destroyed in the SB
Also the D Carr hate is so dumb, he took the Raiders back to the playoffs and made them a contender, as Saints fans, not everyone can be Brees, Carr threw for 3800 yards and 25/8, he also recently had 4 consecutive 4000 yard seasons Carrs 10 year avg - 3900 Yards per season, 24 TDs and and 10 INTs. That’s pretty damn good
Josh Freeman probably should be the worst for 2009. Not to downplay how bad Sanchez was, but Sanchez had two seasons leading the Jets to the playoffs whereas Freeman had no playoff appearances and was out of the league by 2016. Sanchez was terrible, but the fact he had two okay years and lasted three years longer in the league than Freeman puts Freeman as the bigger bust.
This dude is allergic to fact checking. I've watched a lot of videos (so I guess he gets the last laugh) but yeah he sucks at pronunciations and real life facts.
Tim Tebow was a football god compared to Jimmy "pickles" Clausen. dude single handily gave the Panthers the reason to draft Cam in 2011 Tebow at least went to the SB..
Since people put alot of credence into rings Gabbert is technically better than Newton because he's gone to 2 Super Bowls and has 2 rings. He was Brady's back up in Tampa and got one as Mahomes' back up in KC.
I'd argue that josh is better because of him having more playoff success (and me being a Bills fan lmao) but it comes down to whether you grade playoff success or awards more highly. They're pretty even as far as talent goes
I wanted my jets to draft Josh Allen that year. But instead we drafted a turnover prone USC QB. Ken O'Brian over Marino and now Darnald over Allen. The jets will never learn
When saying one player will surpass another in the future , it is always good to remember the sad ending of Bo Jackson. It's not just talent and execution. It's also longevity and maybe a good dose of luck
I'm not a JETS fan by any means but, I do disagree with you on Mark Sanchez. Didn't he take the Jets to 3 AFC Championship games in 3 Years??? If Not For Rex Ryan Though Coaching
Eli Manning and Philip Rivers were the BEST picks in the 2004 NFL Draft Eli Manning is the only quarterback in NFL's History to beat the greatest QB and greatest coach of all time in Super Bowl's not once but twice in 2007 and 2011 period even though Rivers did not go to a Super Bowl in his own right but to me I love and respected him very much because Eli Manning 1st Round 1st overall pick out of Ole Miss three picks later Philip Rivers 1st Round 4th overall pick North Carolina State University Wolfpack! 0:24
Sam Bradford was good really good. Some bad teams especially the rams terrible injury luck. You seen the difference in him when he went to MINNESOTA and Philly.
Think 49ers could of had Tom Brady in the third round instead of Carmazzi Since Brady is from San Mateo near San Francisco would of been a dream but who knows?
Tom Brady without no doubt he's the G.O.A.T yes 6th Round 199th overall pick in the 2000 NFL Draft the Michigan University Wolverines Alumni is a 7X Super Bowl Champion with the Patriots from 2001 to 2019 Buccaneers in 2020 plain and simple! 1:00
Hahahahahahaha Williams is a fraud. Throws 200 less yards per game when playing a decent to good defense. He shouldn't have won the hiseman. His reciever and running back did all the work. He got 4 turnovers in a game and only managed 17 points total. He can't play in bad weather. Guess what Chicago is during football season. Dude looks flashy because of the air raid but another QB took his spot and put up similar numbers. Utah, Oregon, Notre Dame, Oregon State, Arizona State (to a far lesser extent) exposed him for the fraud he is. ESPN had a graphic during the Arizona State game that showed he had 72 tds and 2 int verus the inferior teams he played and had 6td/6 int against any team with a defense rated higher than 23rd. His best win by ranking at Oklahoma was over 22nd ranked Oregon in the Alamo bowl. Oregon had half a team and no head coach at the time. They still alomst came back and won the game because they figured out exactly what he was doing and how to stop it.
Andrew Luck could have been an all time great he could have over taken Payton Manning if not for his early retirement what might have been Andrew what might have been
I think Deshone Kizar was the worst [ick in the 2017 class. 11TD's to 24 INT's, a 58.9 passer rating, completed only 53.1% of his passes for just north of 3,000 yards and, oh yeah, HE FAILED TO WIN A SINGLE GAME OUT OF THE FIFTHTEEN HE STARTED!!!!!
As a Steelers fan I will say Ben Roethlisberger was the absolute BEST QB picks in 2004 NFL Draft 1st Round 11th overall selection out of Miami University of Ohio RedHawks cause he won Rookie of the year and he won two Super Bowl Rings 2005 and 2008 after 3 trips to the Super Bowl with two different coaches Bill Cowher and Mike Tomlin too there's no question about the fact that Big Ben is the real reason why I became a Steelers Fan became of Roethlisberger he's the heart and soul of the franchise and he will certainly be a perfect candidate for the Hall Of Fame soon for real! Here we go Steelers and Thank You Ben #7🖤💛🖤💛🖤💛
I'm a Bengal fan. I hate Roethlisberger, and if I know one thing. If I hate a player on a Division rivals team, it's because their good. Nobody hates bad players on other teams. In fact they are generally my favorite player. I'll miss Pickett.
Na If he would've stayed healthy then probably but I would put Rivers over Ben and Eli despite not winning a super bowl he never missed a start in 15 seasons people don't give him credit for that he was made out of steel 👍💪
Lamar can't win playoff off games he either loses to Mahomes or Allen. Plus Allen should have gotten the MVP not Lamar. ALLEN had 29 passing TD so did Jackson, Allen had more yards then Jackson and more rushing TD then Jackson. Only reason why Jackson won was Allen had lead league in interception. JUST LIKE BRETT FAVRE DID WHEN HE WON MVP TWICE.
All that dumb shit jameis Winston did in college I thought he was going to get it together in the NFL he did for a little bit but the old James one out how do you feel sorry for him because he was the prototypical Quarterback injuries and not having it all upstairs
Winston is better than Mariota hahahahaha no. Who won a playoff game? Dude threw a TD to him self off Darell Revis (Old Revis but still Revis). I'll give you that the one throw in Carolina kinda overshadows everything he's done. When you try and play hero ball it's more likely to end up making you look like a fool than not.
The Dolphins will never ever win a Superbowl with Tua at QB has a losing record against winning teams can't play in cold weather people take about game manager Tua is the definition of that Dolphins should have drafted Justin Herbert with his cannon arm the wind receivers will never have to come back for the football
Mark gets a bum wrap. We don't question Tom's greatness even though he's never threw the game winner in a Superbowl,it was always the running game kicker or defense.
lamar "run the ball on every play" jackson is a running back, and he is NOTHING compared to Josh Allen. He will end up going the way of Cam Newton. Once injuries catch up with him in another couple years he is done.
