I needed this video! 🙌🏻 I much prefer skin tints since all I want is something light to balance out my skin tone as opposed to heavy, full coverage from foundation! Oily skin can be super difficult! 😬
Yasss! So glad you made this video. Lately I’ve been laying off my foundation and just using concealer. I think a skin tint would be perfect. I’ve had my eye on the Ilia and Kosas ever since I’ve seen you post about them!

Thank you so much for this video! Kosas Tinted Face Oil is my everyday foundation but I feel the same about it in terms of longevity. I wish it lasted longer but my skin is too oily and it does fade beautifully on me. I've been eying the other two tints and I'm probably gonna pass on Glossier and get the Ilia!

Do you set tinted moisturizers? I’m trying to figure out how to use them because I also have oily skin and the ones that I have separate when I set them

I have both and I like the Ilia better ! Especially this time of year when my skin in dry . Kosas isn’t cutting it in the winter . So if you’re dry I would get Ilia
I can only wear Kosas Tinted Face Oil at night because it breaks down any sunscreen if used in the morning. Of course it is OIL, it will dissolve your skincare products. You don’t want your skin to be compromised just for the sake of makeup coverage. I wish they come up with a non-oil based skin tint.
Hi! How did this hold up after wearing a face mask during the day? I want to purchase but I am not sure if its worth it since it might just rub off all onto my mask :(
I’m going to have to try that Kosas skin tint. I loved everything about Ilia and picked one up right away - before everything locked down. I wore it a few times and for whatever reason it makes me break out in tiny white heads if I wear it more than one day of the week. It also doesn’t wear well on my oily skin (I’m a bit older than you, I’d say) and while it looks SUPER gorgeous at first, (perfect color match in Matira which has always been impossible for me) it seems to emphasize the texture of my skin after a while (which isn’t the best) And for me it doesn’t set as well as I would like. I’m trying to make the most of it as I don’t believe I can return it to Sephora. 😞 Thanks so much for the review! Kosas looks promising!
Same here. I’m 36 with acne prone skin and I think it’s giving me white heads and I also have super oily skin and I feel it sits on my skin and it gets worse when I set it. Like you said it is gorgeous when you first apply it but maybe not recommend for mature skin
Hi!! Great question, yes I used the same products to conceal and set my makeup for all 3 skin tints ❤️ with my oily skin I definitely could not get away with not setting haha
Thanks for the video, love watching them! I have the same oily skin and found that Neutrogena Oil Free SPF moisturizer works similar to skin tint if I just squirt one pump of a darker shade of foundation and mix it into the lotion. I still end up a bit oily at the end of the day though. :)
