I appreciate the “Top 5 / Bottom 5” format of this video! I think you got it right in saying there’s value in knowing more about a bunch of different products bc we all have different things that we might like and plus, this is like a set of 10 quick and straightforward mini-reviews. 👍🏼

I do love the holiday Laura Mercier sets. They’re generally around $40, and they come in a quad. I rarely finish a product, so the smaller sizes are actually nice. Thank you for this!!!

With the Maybelline sticks the best color is Creamy Chocolate. I wear it all the time and get compliments often. The bronze shade is also very good.

I love the Kiko too! I agree. The Nudestix are great too!! I hear the Linda Hallberg crayons are amazing. I have some on order and cant wait to check them out :) Thanks for a great video!!

They're actually both eye and lip safe, so they're good for just about everything! Linda has some great tutorials showing how you use them in different ways.

The absolute worst ones are the Julep shadow sticks. They don't even last 5 seconds on my lids.. Would love to hear you review more from Kiko! Nobody ever talks about Kiko and their products are fantastic quality across the board

Great review! Some of these pencils I had never even heard of. Years ago MAC and Too Faced had some fantastic crayons but I don’t think they make them anymore. You can’t beat the ease and convenience of application of a pencil/crayon. Love them!

Have you yet done a comparison of liquidy eyeshadows? I ask because I'm obsessed with Giorgio Armani's eye tint in Flannel and Rose Ashes, but at $39 I can't really justify trying much more... but they're so quick and easy!

I love cream shadow pencils! Have you tried the Sephora Collection colorful shadow and liner? I have the taupe one and love it... especially for my water line. It’s more of a champagne shimmer and gives a beautiful sheen.

I have some Sephora eye crayons that I like except for sharpening them. Any good tips? I wonder the same for sharpening Nude Stix which I don't own.

Regina Rooks nudesticks have their own sharpener. For the Sephora one I’d recommend the Colormax Cosmetics sharpeners. They do a great job and you don’t get messy ‘chunks’ like some other ones I’ve tried. There’s also a little tool that comes with it that you can use to clean up.

I love my ByTerry shadow stick, which I received as a gift and still wear, but I am over the moon in love with the ones from Beauty Pie. (Have you tried any of their stuff. Most of my skin care and lots of my makeup is now from them. I'm hooked! Founded by the founder of Soap and Glory.)

I like the nyx jumbo pencils as bases for powder eyeshadows, but they don’t work for me on their own. They crease and don’t last unless you set them. I think I’m going to try the kiko ones. I hear a lot of people raving about the laura mercier caviar sticks, but they are too expensive. I appreciate your opinion of them.

The Balm’s shadow sticks have been my go to fave for awhile but the color selection is limited & I’ve been wanting to try Kiko so sounds like those will be next in line!

I have almost all of the Kikos sticks. I have to say they have more blues, greens, and bright colors then most collections and my absolute favorite is 31 which is a periwinkle blue and very unique. it’s actually my favorite color in my large collection of shadow. I bought mine in store before my local one closed. I find all of the shadows to be consistent and thick in pigment.

Glad you mentioned Kiko! They have amazing products. I have a lot of those pencils and they use to have them in the stores. More people need to recognize them again. The quality is amazing!!!😁💜👍...FYI Laura Mercier eye pencils are amazing and have that cooling sensation.

I LOVE shadow sticks! The Mally ones are my favorite but are pricey as well. You can get good deals off QVC though. They are like glue on my super oily eyelids. I like using them like a base under my shadow!

I bought 5 Kiko sticks, and although some wear well and are very pretty, many have lots of glitter, which I was not expecting. Unfortunately their website does not describe the finish. My favorite was a dark taupe. The ones I got that didn’t have glitter were more satiny, but the dark taupe seemed fairly matte.

I have oily lids and I love Rimmel pencils. I have been through about 5 of the shade bad girl bronze. Hard to find in store but Amazon always has them for less than $5.

As far as affordable that lives up to some of my more expensive ones, I LOVE kiki and Milani shadow sticks - golden bronze is HG for me! And years later it is still creamy

I just ordered the AOA blender and while I was on there I ordered a couple shadow sticks. Never ordered from AOA before so not sure what I'm getting lol. I did notice Elf came out with a couple also. Great review 👍

Bailey B I can’t believe you’ve never done a video on them before:) the shop MissA site has makeup/beauty tools for mostly a $1, and the AoA line is their in house brand, I believe. From some videos I’ve watched, they have some hidden gems. Taylor from Thataylaa has a few videos that have turned me onto some good products. You should check it out:)

The Laura Mercier Caviar stock was my first ( and only) high end shadow. It creased severely in an hour. I just wear the Revlon Cream Shadows and they are cheap and pretty! Thx Bailey!

NudeStix didn't start the eyeshadow sticks. I've been using this type of eyeshadow since 2009. NudeStix was found in 2013.

Thank you! I actually haven't tried the NYX Jumbos in a while because I wasn't a fan of them way back when. They were way too greasy and didn't set, so they creased immediately on me. I don't think they've changed their formula 😕

@@BaileyB OMG you're the first influencer that I've heard say this about the NYX Jumbo Pencils 😉 I thought the same exact thing when I tried them. I wanted to love them, especially Milk, but they just didn't work well. So I needed a white jumbo pencil as an eye base that worked better than Milk and I picked up the LA Colors Jumbo Pencil in Seashells and I love it. It's only $1.50 and it's pigmented, smooth, blends well and last on me all day.. I have a few others that I love and they just came out with a metallic color range, I got a few to try out soon. ☺

None of these shadow sticks work for me, from the cheapest drugstore ones to the high end. My skin is normal, my eyelids aren’t oily, I use primer. They look great at first and then after a few hours, crease and oxidize like crazy. Probably has something to do with my sunscreen, which I cover my entire face with before doing my makeup. This doesn’t stop me from buying them, though...just picked up a stormy metallic blue from a boutique brand called Cailyn yesterday. Been using them as liners instead of an allover lid color, and set with shadow, with slightly better results.

I’ve got lots of Nudestix pencils in both metallic and matte, and I love them. I also love Charlotte Tilbury colour chameleon, I have amber haze and dark pearl. I have one eyeshadow stick from Nars and it’s really good too. I’m not a major fan of By Terry and Bobbi Brown.

I only wear Laura Mercier Caviar sticks. My lids don’t like shadow from the pan b/c i’m of an age where my lids move WITH the eye brush. Awkward! So much easier to put this creamy stuff on with mah fingers.
