I´ll use this opportunity to thank you guys for 10k subs in such a short period of time. I wasn´t entirely sure what sort of "special thanks video" I should make, but this seems at least semi-appropriate due to the frequency of the requests for it. So thanks a bunch again! P.S.: I am sure I will have to make a vol. 2 or how many it takes because it would be almost impossible to condense all the hype that is Yipes in a single one of these

One may wonder why we all understand Yipes even when all he did was nonsense yelling and grunting. It's because the noices he makes was so primal it touches our inner fighting spirit. Just like in the heat of battle, a man doesn't need any legible voice of reason to compels him. Just the sound of sword clashing, men roaring and fire cracking is enough. Such is the voices of Yipes.

yipes by far the best commentator in the fgc. he was also the best part about Evo excellent commentary and entertaining as well.

Yipes is such a master of improvisation. Something like that combined with a true passion for the game , results in legendary commentating and in many cases. is as entertaining as what's happening on screen. A perfect compliment for such a hype game. The history of the competitive scene of the MvsC scene stateside is such an interesting story and Yipes himself , kind of embodies the passion , history and culture of the fanbase. I mean the first minute and half of this video is pure gold. I don't how he can come up with this kind of stuff on the spot, in the spur of the moment and deliver it with such showmanship / comedic timing , in such a tight nanosecond , by nanosecond pacing. Some of these lines you can't help but laugh , while enjoying some top level play. It's like a perfect cherry and icing on top. My favourite games commentator period and on top of that a fierce competitor too. Yipes is the personification of Hypes. Guys like him make the FGC very interesting and enhances the entertainment value a thousand fold.

Yipes is on a whole 'nother class of commentary. In a class of his own with his quality of entertainment. Besides the excellent adventures, Yipes is the reason why I fell in love with the FGC.

Everyone else talks about stats and what match up is in who's favor and constantly jumping to conclusions about how a round might play out. Yipes just gives us gold.

I love that Yipes releases commentary highlights every Tuesday nights these days. He calls them Can Openers, which is a weird name for a highlight but we let the goat do what he wants.
