A bath in clothes is a great idea. It is definitely warmer and the water does not need to be heated. Sprinkle some more washing powder ... and you've got 3 in one.
where can I find the non chlorinated shock? I got the hot tub for my husband who had stage 4 prostate cancer. We had it in the garage and he was in it all the time. After he passed away I emptied it and put it up in the attic of the garage. I recently had my patio cover changed out and decided to put the hot tub on the patio. I noticed with the test strips that it is more alkaline. You mentioned the non chlorinated shock. Would that work for my hot tub and where do I order it? Does it come in another name? Thanks for the video. I love my tub even if it is for being alone in it.
I just use bromine tabs for mine these can be found in almost every pool store, I really rarely measure the water as well, I just watch and see if the bromine tabs are desolved, then add 3 more into it each time and then just drain and refill the water every month, hope this helps!
Sorry for the delay, but I do not use any additional heaters, I just use the tub early that day, drain the water, refill and then by the night of that next day the temperature is often at least 100+ degrees when I set the heater to 104
How often do you change water? Do you leave the hot tub running at all times, even not in use? Should I turn it off if I only use in the weekends F-Sun? Thanks
I keep mine on 24/7 unless it gets too cold, I will say that when it is also 90+ degrees outside it would have been nice to have this out of the sun, as that water gets way above the 104 reading the pump is telling me, but it has never had one issue for me I also change the water as need be, the bromine tablets keep the color clear and the non-chlorinated shock helps with any biological scum buildups, but about once a month is how often I drain and re-fill
We just bought one at Runnings. We plan to keep it in our garage where our Softub was. I really loved that Softub! It lasted 11 years before the liner cracked. Can’t get a new liner or new tub. Thanks covid for turning our lives into a shit show. I hope this tub will hold up until we can find another Softub.
It takes a pan of water for noodles 10minutes to get to boiling on a stove top, this is about 250 gallons of water to heat, if you do this mid day, by that next days night time it should be ready to use
My pump says eo1 and I've even changed and put a new filter in it and it won't turn on it keeps beeping and it says e01 what does that mean please help
If you look in the manual, all the error codes are listed there. E01 - Water flow sensor error. Fix by unplugging and then hit/tap the side of the pump (but not violently), and plug it back in. The old kick the tire trick ;)
Hey you said something about aromatherapy tablets…. I didn’t see a link??? Also, you have me legit worried that I’m going to die using this thing lol. Why exactly do I need to call an electrician? Dumb blonde question, I suppose 🤷🏼♀️
The aromatherapy tablets only really worked for about 10minutes before the smell was gone so I wouldn't bother with them and for the electrician it's more so for making sure the connection is grounded at the outlet, you will live haha
Have had a miami 4 person spa for a week...talk about a pain...getting the right chemical mixture is ridiculous.. if I get chlorine in range...ph and alk.all.. drop like a rock... and vice versa.... using smaller and smaller amounts of chem...Chem...I have read 99% of owners have no issues.. but I must be getting my water from under a nuclear plant...
I have never even worried about using the pH trackers etc, our water source is very clean in the city and I just put about 3 bromine tabs in at a time on the floor of the tub near the jets and when I see them dissolve I just add more and drain/re-fill the tub about once a month
