I was Muslim and converted to being a follower of our lLord Jesus Christ..I prayed to God one time with all my heart and asked him to show me if he’s real then Jesus came into my life. Yes, the Northeastern part of India comprises mainly with the Baptist and Presbyterian Christian denominations. It was mainly the American and English missionaries working tirelessly for the Lord.
Yes it was the American Baptist missionaries who came to our states(Nagaland,Manipur and surrounding areas). The coming of Christians missionaries was the greatest gift ever we received from you and always thankful for it. No matter how difficult it was then to come and preach the good new in areas where head hunting and illiterate tribals lives, the came and gave their lives , sacrificing for our people, and I will always remain thankful for that. Christianity is rising in india especially in our regions but I'm also so much saddened to see that many people in America are turning away from God rapidly in the recent decades. I pray that God bring revival to America and Europe once again, so that people will turn back from their sinful ways to God. MGB America...👍👍☺️🙏🙏

H D...Your massive revival depends upon just where you believe the Church is in regard to how close to the End Times it is. I think that most Christians, at least here in the USA, believe that we must be very close to the Tribulation times...it sure seems like it, doesn't it? So with that in mind, I draw your attention to 2 Thessalonians 2:1-3..." Now, brethren, concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him, we ask you not to be soon shaken in mind or troubled, either by word or by letter, as if from us, as though the day of Christ had come. Let no one deceive you by any means, for that day WILL NOT come unless the FALLING AWAY COMES FIRST, and the the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition." If we are indeed close to the tribulation times then there can be no great revival...but a great falling away. So. H D...do you believe we are close to the Tribulation times...or not..? If you believe that we Christians ( the Church ), still has a long time before Jesus comes back, then perhaps your wanting a 'massive revival' could happen. But otherwise there will be a great falling away and no revival.

Yes! Thanks to God to send men to us, and to the Western Missionaries who left their comfort homes and preached us the Gospel during the late 19th century. We were head hunting animist, who would eventually have been swallowed either by Hinduism or Buddhism. Now we find salvation and freedom in Jesus Christ.
The spirit of this song and of these singers becomes transparent through their genuine sincerity. How can this message be missed when young people are announcing it so beautifully?

I agree with Mary Nunnally, that this North East Indian choir are a gift from God to the world. Anyone who has traveled in their part of the world would know or should know hardships Christians face. The music and singing is stunning & deserves to be held in the highest honour.
Singing is a good way of spreading the gospel when itshard to preach openly to.countries that Christianity is not welcome. This group how they sing is very clear n nelodious. God bless them.

It was the British Baptist Missionaries in the 19th century that brought Christianity to Mizoram. Two men from England reached Mizoram in 1894, Rev. JH. Lorraine and Dr. FW Savidge. They were soon joined by Welsh Presbyterian Missionaries such as DE Jones and Edwin Rowlands. May their souls rest in peace. We were a head-hunter tribal, in fact, a few years before they arrived, one of our village chiefs raided the neighbouring tea garden in Assam and killed the Englishman, who managed the tea garden and beheaded him and took home his head as a trophy and also brought home his daughter, Mary Winchester, whom they treated well. The British side was quite alarmed. News reached England and this was why the missionaries came. Imagine how brave they were. All that they heard about us was that we were a savage, head hunter tribe. Yet, they came because they listened to their calling from God. Mary Winchester was rescued by the British army from the village chief, not long after. The village chief's mother took care of her as her own, they thought she was an elf or fairy of some kind because of her white skin colour. Anyway that's our history. Now we've been enlightened for more than a hundred years and Mizoram is the state with the 2nd highest literacy rate in India, after Kerela.
