I'm old enough to remember when the BET awards was a fun, entertaining, CLASSY event that showcased and uplifted black entertainment., and the Source Awards were for the lower vibration folks. The BET awards have become a minstrel show for a long time now.

BET has always been this way. I’m so confused about the outrage. And then people want to a single sexy red out as if she’s the only thing that’s detrimental to the community. No mention of drill music, violence, male rappers. It’s ridiculous

I stopped watching all awards shows, especially BET AWARDS. It is rachet and degrading. It is NOT a true representation of Black people as a whole. The powers-that-be finds a few desperate innercity kids, thow money at them and tell them to influence Black youth in the worse way. It's disgusting.

I’m gonna disagree with ya on project 2025; it may have been rebranded since Regan but we live in a time right now where it WILL be implemented if trump gets into office. after everything he’s done he will feel unstoppable and with scotus backing him. Whether he’s endorsed it officially means nothing given his associations.. We definitely need educated leadership and rappers, actors not it. We got along ways to go keep up the good work 👏🏾
