Thanks, yes, I try to keep it real through the eyes of a beginner. Anyone can fly a gps "dji" drone but FPV is a whole other ball game. The proper Fpv channels on RU-vid are very good, but like you said, they make it look so easy flying inside abandoned buildings at 100mph! Never crashing ha ha.
I like it, I actually fly it often around the house and in my garden. Battery life is good, and it's a strong little drone, I crashed it loads and no damage 😀
I loved this review mainly because of how much flying you did in this video a lot of other youtubers only fly it for like 10 minutes and they’ve been flying for years, it’s great seeing a beginner review a beginner fpv drone
Nice bit of kit. I’ve again you demonstrate clearly how unsponsored reviews always beat the heck out of those overly slick and commercialized RU-vidrs who want you to think they have your best interests but really want you to buy their stuff or use their links. Thanks as always mate.
Good old captain drone 👏 I like him! He's on vacation but is so dedicated that he came back home to shoot a video! Thanks for your kind words 😀 I wish I could make more vids but working full time with a wife and kids. Plus, the British weather isn't on my side! 🫤
Yeh, that's what I think. Great price for all that you get in the kit. Great beginners, fpv kit for those crap weather days here in 🇬🇧 flying indoors 👍 😀 👌 😎
Great video. Have one coming today, looks like fun. I'm wondering what the power settings do in the config menu, 25MW to 350MW. I'm thinking it has to do with the distance I can fly outside but not sure. Any information would be helpful. Thanks.
So that will increase the rf power so yes you'll get more distance. But less battery life and it will overheat very quickly if your not flying(you can see it in the camera the picture starts to go all funny)
Hi Robin, I can see that you are using the DJI wireless mic, do you rate these and when did you change from the budget AOCIWE Wireless Microphone you linked in previous videos? I'm wondering if I need to spend some serious money or just go for the budget option, many thanks, best wishes, David
Well, I started using the budget AOCIWE mic, and that was fine. But I needed a mic with a wind muff, so I upgraded to a Fulaim x5 mic to use with a dji action 3(my main camera at the time) But as soon as the dji Pocket 3 came out, I now use that for all of my videos as It came with the mic, so that's the only reason I use it. I'm no audio expert, I like the simplicity of the Dji mic. Just turn it on and start recording no dongle to plug in 😁
Yes, they are, so the controller is ELRS now my knowledge of fpv gear isn't great, but I think you can get most other fpv drones in the ELRS configuration And the goggles are analogue, so they should work with any analogue fpv drone 👍
@@RobinDrones emax tinyhawk 3 - the second was a replacement for the first I lost Anyway I retrieved it the other day from a tree, had to make a mini grappling hook and cord It had been up there a few days in the rain but it flew fine afterwards
I had another model of betafpv and i got tired of loosing video signal at 30 mt. They are only for indoor and 5min battery life. It much better to spend more money and buy a decent one right away. Also one must have money to do fpv, if you do not have money to buy 3 drones, then it is not for you😂
Ha ha, yep, it's a money pit! I somewhat agree to buy a better one. But for a newcomer into fpv, this seems very reasonable as you get everything you need. Then, if you like it, upgrade the drone, then the goggles I'd like a proper 5inch O3 fpv, but I know I would crash it pretty quickly. What Fpv drone do you recommend?
