Good video. Useful info. I have very little experience with Beta Flight. The whole setup process is a bit of a mystery to me. I have the same controller and found this very helpful! Thanks for sharing!
Like the content. By the way, I don't think the x bracket is necessary for the o3 air unit. I am pretty sure it's an adapter for installing the caddx vtx to the cradle. I think it's hole pattern is smaller compared to the o3 air unit
hi mate, just a little bit of advice concerning your goggles antennas.. i would use the stock antennas on the goggles v2 as there are omni directional just like the ones you have on the pavo20 there and as is the stock 03 antenna omni directional too so using lhcp or rhcp antennas isnt ideal unless you use 2 lhcp's and 2 rhcp's on your goggles and mix them up, i hope this helps or if you already knew then let me know:)
Yeah I needed this. Didn’t know that the DJI controller could be configured in beta flight. I can hold off on buying an elrs controller for now. Thanks for the tutorial
I recently bought a refurb controller 2 from eBay and it had the same wonky throttle stick and I think a previous owner opened it up and modified it so I sent it back and bought a new one from Amazon
To fly a fpv drone you need the throttle stick to be lose their is a screw on the back of the remote you just tighten and lossen to make the stick tight or lose
@@954Film yes I already know about making stick loose or tighten on back of radio controller, I know that. But I find that very loosen stick is not pretty good for FPV drones. It got to be between little loosen and little tighten. Have you try that? How long have you been flying FPV drones for??
@@indroneswetrust1 I have mine set right about in the middle of fully lose and fully tight I have been flying for about 2 months now I have tryed the controller in a few different configurations and I feel like a little more on the lose side works best for me
@@954Film alright no problem, everyone have their own tastes, opinions for their own FPV drones system, alright no problem. I have been flying for 9 years now since January of 2015. So yeah good short talk with you. Gotta go and have a good day and have a happy flying dude 🤙🏼😎🎮🛸
Hello, I bought a Pavo 20. Before installing O3, I was flying with 2-cell and 3-cell batteries without any problem. But after installing O3, it does not fly at all with 2-cell batteries, and with 3-cell batteries, it flies at 90% throttle and with difficulty. where is the problem from ? I have a 2 cell battery : tattu 450mah 75c and a 3 cell battery : boslipo 650mah 95c
so sorry again... i cannot find user 1 in my betaflight... and aux 1 ia already my arm switch... i dont know how to control my LED.. is there any way i could pass you my number? or we find a more eficient way of comunicating?
Hi, could you please make it clearer which uarts you have open? Because the vid is too low quality for me to see... i fly the exact same setup, thankyou
It comes with uart 3 open you want to close that and open uart 5 and turn on vtxmsp on and leave everything else the way that it was on ports sorry about the quality I will make a vid soon on my betta flight settings on my desktop computer and screen record it for you
@@Leobronke no problem anytime if you have anymore problems I will send you the link to the vids I used to setup the drone I had to watch like 3 different ones to get all the settings right on the first Pavo I had
Hey man I found your video after weeks of searching, I’m so close to getting this thing up and running except I can’t get my Pavo20 to arm. I’m using the Dji goggles 2, dji remote 2, and dji o3 air unit with the pavo20. I’m using the dji cable that was included with the o3 hooked up to the drone. In beta flight everything is the same configuration as yours but she simply won’t arm when everything is paired. If you have any advice please let me know, it would be great if I could get your contact info for some help with this. Thanks!
@@954Film hey man that worked! I got it to arm and the motors spin except I ran into another issue where the throttle doesn’t work. Let me know if you have any ideas, I checked betaflight and it detects the throttle from my remote along with everything else but when I unplug, pair everything and arm, the throttle is the only thing that won’t function right. Really appreciate the help so far
@@954Film ok so I’m in betaflight, drone is hooked up and on with the remote connected, when I move the left stick all the way down, the throttle value is 1000, when the gimbal is centered it’s 1500, and all the way up is 2000. Are these the values you’re referring to under the receiver tab?
@@954Film yea I realise that ur flying manual dude, still ur stick is messed up bro. Crank the f2 screw down then adjust f1 till it doesn’t bounce mate.
