Betalbatim village is famous for its beautiful beaches and the lovely hotels. Tranquility is what greets you when you visit this scenic village which nestles along South Goa's golden beach. Betalbatim is predominantly a Christian village which has seven wards, namely Nagvaddo, Pockvaddo, Binvaddo, Ranvaddo, Gonsuavaddo, Thondvaddo and Chaulvaddo with the church of Our Lady of Remedious as one of the striking features of this village.

Hi Godwyn. Thanks to all of you for such a wonderful presentation. I am in Australia but Goa is in my blood. Wtching this video made me feel like I was back home. My family is from Cansaulim, but I am very keen to make contact with my cousins from Betalbatim, who I have lost touch with. Louise Anthon Alfonso was my da'ds first cousin. He was killed in a railyard accident about 40yrs ago. Hi children were Socorro Alphonso(60s), Eddie Alphonso(late 50s) , Lily Alphonso (50s). They had one more sister maybe in 60s as well. Please help me find them. I am on facebook as well
