I am a Sri Lankan currently living in Canada. I was able to explore most parts of Sri Lanka before 2009. But your journey was an amazing travel experience. Even though some of the acts you do for competition. you both shows genuine love and kindness . sorry to see some sad moments and discomforts you both had. First of all I am so impressed to see a Scotsman wearing a kilt in Sri Lanka. I was so amused and simply thrilled because Scots ALWAYS had helped me. A brilliant straight talking, to the point race I admire to eternity. It is fabulously to you two having a whale of a time. The linguistic interactions with the locals was absolutely great. SL is recovering from many issues, the civil war, food shortages and lack of other essential amenities, all had taken its toll..... but the Nation is still laughing and good to visitors. Great video. Commented while I was looking at this vlog. This is really awesome. Now at the chewing beetle part. I will never do at any cost as this is definitely you need to have to vake you up. Some people take that as they are addicted to it. It is not to swallow. Sometimes, I think why people chew beetles, though I am a born Sri Lankan. SHE TOLD THAT THE HOUSE IS NEARBY IS THE PLACE WHERE THE OWNER OF THE BOAT LIVES AND SHE WILL COME AND TELL THE PERSON YOU NEED TO VISIT THEM. You guys saw a traditional cleaning part before cooking. It makes small rock particles mixed with rice stay at curved edges inside the bowl. There may be other seeds or blacked rice seeds too.😊❤
