Finally a song I can realate to. Not some cringey breakup song, not a song about friends stealing your money, and not a song about cheating or suicide. Just a song that you could use for anything, thankyou I finally found my new fav song!^^💕

I was in a narcissistic relationship, and this song really hits deep. For me i take it as from thier pov when they abuse us how we wont expect when its coming. Talking about the master of deguise which narcs are good for. Just the song really drives the point i feel.

Everything is just perfect the font, the backdrop, the lyrics, yo really knocked it out of the park

The line that goes " I look the same but I'm not fine, the master of my own disguise, if you knew the truth you'd probably hate me. " hit home for me because I have a neurological disorder that makes me feel like this way some times

" Monster" Carved beautifully into my skin with my blade as my paintbrush, it makes me feel empowered cause with the voices in my head, I feel like a monster and having a name to see calms to feed the monster so that it doesn't hurt my people, so I disguise beautifully my monster into a caring girl for my people. My fire will keep on igniting, but I won't let others burn in it even if I burn and die in it. You may call me monster for my voices but I would still cage myself to save you from me

Before knowing this was based off a book, I imagined a girl born with the mental power to manipulate and use her words and body language to huge advantage. She eventually accepts this part of herself as she got older, after years of trying so hard not to decieve others for fear they'd hate her. Nobody never knows what she's doing to them until it's over, because that's how emotional turmoil works.

This makes me think of a part human, part monster girl, an Aberration who has hidden most of her life. in a chance encounter with the royal family, she kills the regent or king. offered a choice, she chooses to aid the princess in a secret mission, in exchange for her life. she agrees (obvi) and teams up with other monsters that the kingdom has imprisoned. She battles new enemies and old friends as well as the chained king of monsters, Typhon, to kill an evil witch and bring back her heart. This is something no hero or prince could do, but maybe its a job for a monster. I dunno, I guess it's silly.
