Huge respect. Beth and the band understand that there’s cover versions and then there’s cover versions. If you’re going to attack a tune that’s basically rock canon, there’s three routes to success: you can either completely rewire the song and make it your own; you can strip it back to the bare bones; or lastly, and most challenging in many respects, you can recreate the original as faithfully as your skills and resources allow. Beth and the band absolutely killed it, taking the hardest option.
Is there any other female artist you who can set at a piano and sing an original that makes you weep, then grabs a mike and belts out a blues song that reaches your soul, then goes to full uninhibited rock of Zeppelin. I think not; Beth Hart is Queen.
There,s not a lot of male singers who can put a much energy and power into a ZEPPELIN SONG as BETH HART, SHE JUST BLOW,S THEM ALL AWAY, BRAVO BETH HART. PEACE BE WITH YOU MY FRIEND'S.✌️✌️😎😎🏴🏴🇺🇦🇺🇦
Nicole Schertzinger has also done a version of this classic equally as acceptable as this from Beth. Nicole Scherzinger - Black Dog (In The Studio) / NScherzingerVEVO ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-h8yc_voR1zU.html
You know why this song was covered rarely, hard to reach what LED Zeppelin did, she and her band covered it and performed it to new levels, unbelievabel !
When Led Zeppelin released this song (1971) Beth Hart was not even born... but she's got some energy!!! Tim Pierce (with hat) on guitar, I'm his fan too. Greetings from Portugal.
Don't tell anyone - I actually have a dog named Bonzo, so I'm a serious Zep nut, but this beats everything (altho it takes 3 guitarists to be Jimmy Page)
@@user-ie4qr5jb5u так Бет больше блюз, блюз-рок... Имхо, на сегодня одна из лучших..))) А Цеппелины как раз хэви-блюз.. как они себя позиционировали..))
What the fuck, BETH HART doing ZEPPELIN, HELL YEAH, THIS IS ROCK AND ROLL, BLUE,S , PROPER MUSIC FOR GROWN-UP,S . PEACE BE WITH YOU MY FRIEND'S.✌️✌️✌️😎😎😎🏴🏴🏴🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦
Such a great song for Beth to rip the hide out of. She channels the same vibe at the French radio station with just her, a guitarist and "whole lotta love".... Sheer and majestic ❤
Beth, I've been listening and purchasing and promoting you for over 20 years, Led Zeppelin is my favorite band of all time. Thank you and God bless you. Keep doing it as the beautiful badass you are. 🤘🎶⚡
Long live Beth Hart. She has 100% talent achieved by means of hard work in this industry. Sings from her heart for all to feel, hear and enjoy. You go girl.
This is NOT any vulgar cover of Led Zeppelin “Black Dog”. This is the best singer of all time, Miss Beth Hart singing the most precious songs of Led Zeppelin according to her lecture and feelings. Beth Hart is The Voice! Beth Hart is The One!
Beth has been killing it since her teenage debut on Star Search with Ed McMann. A true rocker through and through not many people can pull off Zeppelin with out leaving you disappointed wanting the original but this is the real deal and a great performance. Love me some Beth Heart .
Beth Hart literally makes every singer out there look like a fucking amateur, all these so called artists who are as emotionally shallow as the poppy garbage they churn out year after year. It's as if everything she has ever been through is immediately accessible to her...like literally every human emotion ever is at her fingertips or should I say the tip of her tongue and she expresses it all with complete mastery. Complete Chaos meets perfect form. One of the most inspiring artists I've ever seen...as a composer she reminds me why I write music in the first place...to dig deep down and bring it all forth, to give form and meaning to an otherwise absurd existence. Forever grateful to this amazing miracle of a human being and can't wait to see her live in Vegas next week!
I have followed her since the nineties and she has blown me away every time i have seen her. She is absolutely one of the most talented singers i have ever seen and that includes opera
J'adore Beth Hart surtout quand t'elle est comme celà naturelle je retrouve la bête de scène que j'ai connu à ces débuts en 93 celà fait remonter de merveilleux souvenirs gravé dans mon esprit
Paying tribute to a legendary band and song, yet somehow adding something on her own that takes it higher. Remarkable. How am I just learning about this phenomenal vocalist/artist?!
Beth Hart is a force of nature. This band is insane. Tim Pierce has an absolutely uncanny ability to capture any classic solo perfectly and still have it be his. But maybe biggest props to the director. This is a gorgeous video from start to finish.
@@abel3497 A) It's an April Fool's joke, but why a day too early? B) The whole thing was a challenge for RU-vidr, how fast they can publish the video with sound. And Johan Peterson was very fast! 😉
I sat here in absolute amazement Listening and watching this, when it finished the only thing I could say was......DAMN ! I've never heard this song covered well enough to listen to the whole cover. Well done.
Every time I think this woman has reached some zenith; she raises the bar. The range and diversity of her voice is unimaginable. Her technique makes most anyone else look like an amateur. Her vocal control is astounding. Mic control too. And power, wow. And I LOVE when she screams because she's the best I've ever heard. Her recent release of "Babe I'm Gonna Leave You" is by far the finest Rock or Blues singing I've EVER heard by ANYONE. It's superhuman. I hold her Live at Paradiso concert as possibly the greatest live Rock concert I've ever seen. It's certainly the greatest Rock singing, if nothing else. But this is insane. It doesn't matter. Aretha, Etta, Janis, or Led Zeppelin, it doesn't matter. This girl can do it and will inevitably best it.
Couldn't handle the no audio version, but now this one kicks serious ass! It puts me in the mood for some long, hard love making with my lover girl!! 👍👍👍👍👍
Got tuned into Beth Hart several years ago following blues and blues rock. Monster talent. Tim Pierce (Explorer and Derby lid) is a fab guitar picker. I’ve followed him and many of his teachings that he’s provided over the years. I have always enjoyed his musings on his live gigs. If you’ve played out sometime for someone else you can close your eyes and see yourself in his shoes.
