Beth simply has it all. The voice, the presence and the personality to carry a show. Love her music and consider her the best in the blues/jazz scene right now. I just wish she would come to Canada, specifically Victoria BC on tour at some point.
I Believe that I fell In LOVE with Beth the first time I heard her sing AM I THE ONE! At this time, I had already started Guitar Lessons a few months before hearing her sing. I was here on RU-vid searching for some Blues music to play along with! All I can say is, Thank you Beth Hart for being the person that you are and Thank You so much for sharing yourself with all of us that truly loves and appreciates you! My Personal Opinion Of Beth Hart is this.... You Are, Absolutely, Positively "The Greatest Female Blues Singer That Ever Walked This Earth! Oh, I haven't mentioned this yet, but I must.... Beth Hart fans no longer dance. I was screamed at for dancing at a Beth show in Albany, NY and was totally humiliated while trying to have a good time. She is still a world class performer......but unfortunately her fans have forgotten her roots.
Just got home from work - the CD and bluray have arrived. Listening to this right now on CD - it's fabulous. Saving the bluray for when my wife gets home. We both loved the night, and it's so good to have a recording and a video of it.
Beth & band: You were SO on your game and in your element here...you have raised the bar on your own already consistently awesome live performances!! Oh, yeah, I remember being on my feet and dancing when I heard Beth perform live. It is just such a joy to see her and hear her perform. We're so blessed to have her! If you get a chance to see her perform live, don't miss it! You will love it as much as she loves performing for her fans!!
@@j.f.g.1272 I'm getting the limited edition gold vinyl album set. I have the DVD of her performing at the Iridium Jazz Club in NYC, but yeah, as a hard core fan, I should get it. I'd rather have it on Blu Ray. The one I really want is a Blu Ray of her show with Joe Bonamassa Live in Amsterdam. Maybe someone will be nice enough to give it to me for Christmas.

I'm not saying that Winehouse wasn't good, but I don't understand the difference in the hype about Winehouse compared to Hart. My personal opinion is Hart is better, but that's a personal opinion.
