Beth Israel Lahey Health Hospital at Home: David & Janet Fitzgerald 

Dave & Janet Fitzgerald are no strangers to long overnight stays at the hospital. In September of 2023, after having already experienced a 62-day stay at LHMC, it seemed like he was going to have stay overnight for some respiratory issues once more. However, this time the doctors decided to try something new, and suggested Dave try the Hospital at Home program.
Our Hospital at Home program offers support from a 24/7 care team that allows patients to receive inpatient care in the comfort of their own home. Starting in August of 2023 at LHMC, the program is now available at Beverly and Addison Gilbert Hospitals as well.
