The crowd was legit asleep.

I watched half the clip and didn't laugh not once. Nothing against her style or her personality, just personally haven't found generic fat jokes funny since high school at my oldest. Not knocking it in one bit beyond stating me nor the audience nor any viewer at all is under some obligation to laugh at every joke. You see my dear fellows humor is subjective and as such will inevitably never be met with 100% laughter. Even the most successful comedians experience joke bombing depending on the nights happenstance goers. So to somehow blame the audience or even herself for being underwhelming is completely meaningless. If every comic quit after bombing one night whatever the reason may or may not be, we'd have no one on that stage at all. My point? Don't find what I've seen funny at all, but I'd sit quietly and respectfully pay attention until the next comedian was up. Id also clap out of appreciation of the effort. What I'll not do is side with any side that says she or the audience is obligated to act like it's required to laugh or be considered funny by every single person. That's the kind of ass backwards logic giving all teams a trophy begets. "We all are great and we all deserve to be winners just for doing it. Yay!!!" Yeah? Not in my opinion, although I do see how you'd think that's a nice gesture, adults overwhelming don't all enjoy the same cookie cutter esk content. Compelled laughter is inherently not good for anyone, which should be obvious as to why. Hence why tape laughs are all but gone, it was pretend gratuity and fooled only the most ignorant viewers into feeling bad for not laughing at every punchline. It's as it should be, it's mostly a buyers market. How that a bad thing?

I'll add that upon watching the rest of her set I laughed only when she called the Facebook 6 Years Ago Today script "pretty awsome actually." However the laugh was only at her well timed retraction. So I found half of a joke funny to immediately be told a "joke" about animal abuse which she herself apparently finds the most funny and immediately decided she's not my kind of comic at all. If you liked it, great continue supporting her career if you found worth in it. I however didn't like it and have no more to say other than I'll not actively seek out more of her content likely ever, and there's nothing wrong with either of those opinions. My two cents for whatever it's worth in your eyes. Peace

I'd like to think a fellow stoner would not be inferring that 300 pounds is still only "moderately" overweight. Am I correct in my assumption or have you literally smoked yourself raterded sir? Don't get me wrong, if you're going to be fat by all means embrace that shit as opposed to hating yourself always. However to claim that the OP who's admitted to being well over 250lbs is anything other than straight up obese and extremely risky would be beyond incorrect. I move people for a living, senior residential units are roughly 20% of our business. No met very many fat people there, seems to me 90-95% of old people are skinny to what is actually moderate. Nothing personal, but your personal misconception of what that documentary stated is highly exaggerated by your personal justification for being overweight. On the contrary blood pressure, dietary habits, exercise, and all around healthy lifestyle are by far the most important for longevity. If you're 300 pounds a two pack a day smoker is fully expected easily to outlive the OP for sure, and possibly you depending on your actual weight. Turns out obesitys unhealthy lifestyle increases all those numbers, including your overall mass. Love it when big dudes make fun of me for being 135lbs without taking into account that given my height I'm actually considered 5 lbs overweight. Ooh yeah, really got me where it hurts. I then tell them to enjoy never seeing an age past mid 50 unless they lose their weight, while I'm protected to hit the average age and beyond no problems. Also I'll make sure to check back in 30 years to add RIP comments, out of respect of course. Like the flip of a coin 50% chance of being half on, with a 25% chance of winning outright. Not much of a casino goer myself but those are odds clearly stacked against the house. Not saying...just saying guys.

On a side note social media trying to police language by attempting to automatically delete free speech is futile when I always copy- paste just in case. Switch two letters and fool computer assisted infringement. Not to sure what the future holds though. Boy oh boy, if someone would have told me in the 90's that with exponential technological growth society would get more ignorant in spite of its near limitless resources I'd have quite handily doubted it. How wrong I would have been, and how sad it make the future seem. Well hopefully 2050's a good year to be 72 in. I imagine that's the year euthanasia becomes normalized for non contributing 70+ year olds.. Ah shit!
