It made me cry when Audrey said your sister holding her daughter's hand and praying to god that she doesn't die and when the nurse said your daughter's come round.
16:22 Jason literally saves Beth’s life with this conversation. He’d already figured out what had happened, but knew the doctors needed to find out exactly what Beth had taken. He didn’t go telling Sarah or Gail who would’ve shouted and screamed at David and not got any useful information out of him. Instead he stayed calm, helped David understand that Beth wasn’t going to make it if he didn’t tell them what had happened, and got the information straight to the Doctor.
This was great character development for David, because for many of the things he did, he took a solid while before he started feeling guilty, but in this situation, the guilt hit him immediately
The only times Gail has ever really really shouted at David was when he sent his family cards from Richard Hillman and when Bethany took an E. She didn't yell at David when she found out he was responsible for Nick's accident in 2013 but he was chucked out of the house again.
The 2000s were most unmissable days with the platts. Sarahs underage pregnancy, Richard hillmans murderous rampage, David turning evil sending hillman cards, bethany taking his drugs, and his feud with Gary windass. We'll never see the show like that again
I must be honest that the platt family sounded like they were a very hectic family back in them days. With Sarah having Bethany at just 13 years old then Gail marrying 5 different men, then the family being driven into a suicidal bid in the canal
My Nana was like that on my mum's side, you had to have someone keep the peace and be diplomatic, if my mum was mad which was always my Nana backed me up
When I was 9 1/2, I made up a story about my taxi driver resting and waking up all flushed. And he had a Kit Kat and he wiped his fingers in his seat and he did something in his pants, but he wasn’t sick. It’s like what happened to me at home 4 years before.
If I was about Bethany’s age, I’d like her to say things like, “You don’t just go off to the toilet, you say, Can I go to the toilet?” And, “Christopher! Get out of that toilet!” It’s just someone said that when I was 5 1/2.
Well David was the victim really. His family was not very nice to him. Gail always favoured Sarah and Nick over him and never supported him. Here I don’t see him as the victim here thought. I hated what he did to Bethany but I do think it was wrong of Gail kicking him out of the house because I think that made him a lot more worse than he was before. They made him feel like an outcast though his life. Him finding out about Gail didn’t want him just made him worst to.
@@Hutchman98 Exactly Bethany’s is Sarah’s world and she loves her had she died it would’ve been very tragic for the family yes David didn’t set out for Bethany to get ill but he was careless and why was he so stupid to hide the drugs in a doll? Xx
She was a frightened little girl that didn’t really understand why her uncle was shouting at her and freaking out over the “sweets” she found in her dolly and ate. I’m quite sure any other child would have reacted in a similar way if they were stunned.
Bethany Platt Shouldn't Of Taken The Pill That Was Hidden Inside The Dollshead David Platt Should Of Taken Better Care Of Bethany Stopped Her From Taking It In The First Place Then She Wouldn't Be Sick In The Hospital Right Now ❤😂🎉😢😮😅😊
She probably though they were sweets you know how kids are at that age they are curious but tbf why dis she take the head off the doll anyway unless it was loose because of David taking the head of anyway it was mainly his fault but still faults on both sides!
