All these new weapons were added for FREE with the Fallout 4 next gen update. Console users have a bug where 3d models are not loading in, Bethesda will be releasing a patch for this soon, but I have no ETA for it.
I played on Survival Mode. First time while i was running back to Marvin (My first ever playthrough mind you) i suddenly heard a strange noise and then i just died. While wearing completly decked out T-60 Power Armor! Well, after replaying half an hour worth of gameplay, i reached the point again and this time i stayed vigilant. Turns out it wasn't necessary, because after sleeping in the Raider outpost for 7 Hours to save and be well rested, i returned and found good old Marvin dead on the fire escape on the Building next to Suggs. I guess the dude sniped me with his Pig Fat Man the first time, certainly would explain the strange noise i heard before dying and why i instantly died despite Power Armor.
Note about Nail Gun, standard muzzle will allow you to collect nails back helping to offset the rarity. But when you upgrade to Gauss it destroys the ammo....so toss up on preference
Yeah I noticed. But the standard muzzle tends to crash my game. Don't know if anyone else experiences this. So I'm forced to use the gauss muzzle. Unfortunate, but Bethesda never changes 🤷🏾♂️
the pipe grenade launcher with a suppressor and scope is amazing. the range is insane, enemies treat it like a landmine or grenade going off, it doesn't alert them to you because of the suppressor.
it’s honestly so funny how all of these function exactly the same as on other devices, they just forgot to drag the texture files 😭 like the nail guns and saw blades still work and your hands mold to where they should be, everything is just n/a texture
As soon as they drop a fix for the errors on xbox ill be playing like a mad man. I suffer from the invisible weapons which effects the nail gun and the saw blade launcher and red exclamation shooting errors bigs at the moment. Ive heard news they are working on fixing that which gives me hope. I was so hyped to play after the update dropped and these new bugs really dampened my spirts.
@malfeastial I never really thought about playing with mods but I may try the playable super mutant mod. I love me some super mutants. They remind me of the orks of 40K.
If you kill Suggs he has a legendary Chinese grenade launcher called Flakker. It has a 20% chance to cripple a target’s limbs. The quest one is better and you keep the ability to buy ammo if you don’t kill him haha
@@shawngiver5570 true. Not at much as Suggs or as often as ESO shows in the video. Also it is the cripple legendary effect on a grenade launcher or one that more easily one shots the enemy in the first place
The Gun that Suggs has on his body has a special nuka ammo type that the launcher uses however looked all over in game and on the internet and I cannot find that ammo
I hope they’ll update it to fix the nail ammo situation, because I love that little thing. Wish I could get a crippling one, shooting enemy toes to pin them in place
The Minutemen can sometimes spawn with them. I saw group of them defending a military checkpoint and one of them had the Makeshift granade launcher as his default weapon
This is true! I have a character that is going through the game using just them. As long as Suggs isn't dead you will probably never run out of 40 mm. If he dies take levels in bashing! The ammo really does need crafting option.
If you kill Suggs instead of helping him he drops the unique grenade launcher "Flakker" but then you kinda lose the only vendor who sells the ammo currently... I have a feeling that when this 'was' a mod the creator probably had it so the weapon and ammo was simply added to the world files so npcs could have them meaning more potential ammo etc
Not even just missing textures, we outright can't use them. The locations just have triangles and an unworking blank items. Also kinda funny though because I got nailed with a flying red triangle nuke earlier
My one friend loves doing explosive builds in this game and she adores goofy weapons too. These two together are why her (and my own) minigun that fires missiles is her favorite weapon But seeing a piggybank that can be launched like a mininuke i knew shed love it. Was gonna tell her and she already was in the middle of using it XD she renamed the pipe grenade launcher Popgun and the bike bell on it made her fall in love with all these goofy things
I suggest you check out the quests alternate reward the "Flakker". Basically it shoots Nuka grenades that deal as much damage as a Fatman but even better since its magazine fed! Unfortunately in order to get it you have t kill Suggs (The quest giver) instead of helping him which then prevents you from accessing his shop
40mm Frag Grenades - Arturo, KLEO, Aaron and Cricket as well as Suggs. (Aaron & Cricket only have between 2-8 rounds) Suggs fast route - Fast travel to Kendall Hospital (With combat shotgun equipped) kill 2 blood bugs, 3 bloat flies turn around and kill ghouls from grave yard Follow road adjacent to graveyard, take second right - you should be looking at a red rocket with random enemy spawn Straight through Red rocket past armour frame to alley between houses Turn left = Suggs
There’s also this nuka grenade launcher with a kneecapper effect called the Flakker. I got it by accidentally blowing up Suggs with the piggy bank launcher👍👍
The pipe grenade launcher is freaking OP. I keep one with a lightweight receiver and 4 shot mag. Don't remember if I found it or crafted it. I used it recently on Ivey and Ahab during the Mechanic. 3 shots and done! Ivey didn't even get a shot off at me. 😂😂
I know the Creation Author of the Enclave Remnants updated his Creation to work with his bigger Mod “America Rising 2” so they work together seamlessly. I wonder if the Modder or another Modder will update the Makeshift Weapons to have more visual animations, like the gauge for the Sawblade Launcher working.
For the piggy bank fatman ammo, it seems impractical that they would be added to npc loot lists, since they were the ammo for an eccentric weaponsmith's passion project that he built specifically to kill his hated rival. It wouldn't make sense that he'd sell the same type of ammo that was going to be the signature of his assassination of Suggs.
The saw blade launcher is basically an air gun, and the gauge just tells you how much psi you have left before you have to refill it with air but obviously you don’t have to refill it in game

Sir you have forgotten the STRONGEST new weapon of all! The Flakker grenade launcher. Its the alternate weapon reward if you decide to kill Suggs instead of helping him. Its legendary effect is terrible for explosive weapons but thats not what matters, its the fact that it uses Nuka Grenades as ammunition! This thing deals very similar damage to a Fatman but its better because it has a magazine!
Has anyone noticed that you can return multiple times to the Enclave bases and their ammo and weapons fill the boxes. I think about a week game time and they refill. Crazy. First time i thought I had just missed them, but i hadnt and went back around to all of them. Radio is still off and turret still smoking. p.s. the thugs you deal with in front of the new guys shop are refilled with ammo and whatever weapons they had. I still after several trips have a hard time finding the unmarked weapon seller.
We need to wait for the f4se script extender to get updated which allot of mods relied on. Once that's updated we then need to wait for the other mods to get updated. After that we can see what still works in the mod list and update it. Its a long process and it relies on others in the community. Theirs also a chance bethesda will release a patch for the fallout next gen update which breaks things again =D
Love the little thumper grenade launcher you can get and the Chinese grenade launcher Now there's a mod on ps5 that let's you craft the creation club weapons and the ammo
This does beg the question, will settlers equipped with Chinese grenade launchers with the ballistic shields gain immunity to explosions or will they still accidentally blow themselves up as per usual with explosive weapons or grenades? Might also be something to look into with Enclave napalmers/incinerators with shields added. Still probably would not equip them with these so they don't kill my settlement animals, but might be something fun to test out.
You missed the 2nd legendary "Flakker" Suggs drops it if you kill him or pickpocket him. But it uses a ammo called NUKA wich at the moment I don't think you can buy or craft 😢
This is why I like fallout 76 better in terms of crafting because you can actually craft ammo instead of having to constantly buy it for weapons that have a very low ammo availability
Yes,yes it would be lol How slow are you? If you increase the fire rate,you also increase the rate at which it triggers the reload,and can be shot again...Making it more effective,at shooting,again.Go eat some more lead lol
All them weapons would be fun if you could see them and not a red question mark. I just put them away and haven't even used them because of the glitch.
Any time I go into Marvin’s shop the entire room is covered in red squares with an exclamation point in the center. Sucks because i can’t pick up anything in the room because of it.
Sure would love to be able to run the mods that fix the fact that FO4 still does not run at full screen / full screen borderless on 4k for some people even after changing ini prefs.
Not going to lie I did the When Pigs Fly quest at a super low level and the only reason I was able to complete it was due to the mutated dogs attacking them.. I just stood there and watched then killed the dogs off at the end lol
7 weapons I need, huh? Well, it's certainly not these lol; but for real, my list would be: 1. The 10mm SMG (for real, I want this one terribly bad.) 2. The R91 (4 needs more rifles like Mars needs moms.) 3. The Chinese Assault Rifle (the brick & mortar exists as cut content - they just need someone to finish it.) 4. The Chinese Pistol (4 could always use more pistols.) 5. The All-American, or a rifle of similar design (because nothing says patriotism like a Colt Model 933 look-alike.) 6. The Service Rifle or Assault Carbine (again, 4 could use more rifles...) 7. The 9mm Pistol or 12.7mm Pistol (because why not?)
Im still upset I can't play fallout 4 now until they fix the update for xbox users And from the looks of other comments I'll be waiting for a while Because it's still missing textures
