David, another wonderful tour - I really enjoyed it. Your video made me want to jump into my car and drive to the site! Looking forward to the next video.
Hi Nigel, thanks for watching. I took a break with the videos as I am busy guiding all month. Until I create a new video, please watch the others on my channel.
Hello!!! My real name is Bethzaida and one day I would like to visit this place, but for now your video helps me to see it and I can dream how it would be when I visit Israel. ❤️
Lovely site! Bethsaida, like all that green grass which reminds me of St Mark 6:39: “Jesus then told his disciples to make all the people divide into groups and sit down on the green grass” and of St John 6:10: “ Then Jesus said: Make the men sit down. Now there was much grass in the place. The men therefore sat down, in number about five thousand.” Marvelous 💚, the Jordan River looks stupendous 🌊 thank you!
David, I'm so happy one of your videos showed up in my recommendations about 10 days ago. Seeing Israel's biblical sites through your tours is matchless. No one else goes where you take me. The green landscapes as you showed in this video is how I believe things were during the New Testament era. Am I wrong to believe all the movies and documentaries misrepresent ancient Israel as a barren wasteland of rocks and desert? It was the land flowing with milk and honey. God did punish the people for failing to give the land sabbath rest in their crop rotation for 70 years. It is absolutely delightful to see the Jordan River and Lake Galilee in the distance. When you said "this is the Golan Heights", I wondered what all the fuss was about when I used to see it in the news years ago. What's up with that? I was glad, yet astounded, that all the Bethsaida site markers were in English. How did that come about? God bless you and keep you safe everywhere you go, my brother.
Hi Linda, I'm so happy to read your comments. Knowing that my videos have value for others is my greatest reward. Israel's landscape is influenced by our short rainy season, from October to April. So if you visited during the summer, it's very dry. Also reminding that south of Beersheba it's all desert. Golan heights have seen three major wars within 25 years. 1948, 1967, 1973. Right now they are part of Israel, but Syria still has a claim on this land. Take care 🙂
@@IsraelwithDavidHyman Okay. I understand now. Isn't it true that the Israelis are the true Palistinians? Aren't the Arabs or Muslims counterfeiting their claim that they are the Palistinians and, therefore, have first rights to Palistine and the Jews should be removed or annialated?
I have so enjoyed watching all of your videos and learned from each and every one. Thank you. I pray the Holy Land may soon fill with Pilgrims to experience the sites in person. In the meantime, you ask what we may like to see next. I would suggest Mount Arbel, the Eremos Cave near Tabgha, the Emmaus Trail and a return to Tel Dan if the Abraham Gate is now restored and uncovered. Thank you!!
Hi Jan, thanks for watching and for your kind comments. Very much appreciated. I have added your ideas to my list and will try to cover them soon. Thanks and take care 🙂
Hi Sol, thanks for watching and for your comments. The part of the Jordsn River that is recorded on this video is completely natural and was not straightened. I think the reason it appears as a stright line is because the scale of the map. Reminding that the river flows through a tectonic fault called: "The Syrian African Fault".
