Good stuff! It’s nice to see Francois doing well for himself. I met him as I went into my second year of line pumping. 90% percent of the time I carried 20 or so 5” pipe + 3.5-4” hoses for commercial jobs. He told me “if you make it past a couple weeks, you’ll make it as an operator”. Fast forward 12 years later 🙂🙃🙂 💀
My company in Manitoba is really turning to betonstar for their pumps in the future. They already have 3 units in, and they’re really impressive to say the least. apparently old putzmeister engineers are apart of betonstar!
I remember when we got the first 63M Putzmister around 2006/07 here in Dublin IRELAND and how slow it was on the Road 75KPH it was limited too then we got the limiter change and got it up to 84KPH but it took so long to get anywhere outside Dublin. I loved the 52M 5 Section i could pump so much faster because the boom on the 52M was so smooth very little bounce
We have some goofy regulations with regards to axle spacing for twin-steer/twin-drive chassis out. Many of the newer rigs in said size range we can only get on a single/tridem chassis.
