That sounds like it’d be a good transition between different scenes if they ever made an “every board game ever” video- like how in between each clip someone says something funny into a microphone so Damien could say “this is my favorite board game, guys”

She was very clear that there was nothing but love between her and other members of the Smosh cast, but that the executive team saw her other project as competition. She spent most of the Smosh segment of the Q&A gushing about her love for smosh, and she never indicated that Smosh didn't care about her

He definitely is. It is just like how they introduced Damien as a special guest for his first month. They test the waters to see how fans respond before fully making them a new member. By doing it gradually, people respond more favourably than if they just introduce them as new members.

The last time my group played this the same happened to us immediately upon starting the game. The first player went, everything was fine. The second player went, had to do a haunt roll, all blanks. The table was in stunned silence for a second or two before we all started jokingly berating our friend as is customary in board gaming. It was a VERY short game after that.

Technically I think the heroes may have cheated a little because when you walk past a traitor or monster it takes 1 extra movement so someone with low speed might not have been able to move out of the crypt if they also moved into it that turn, but it probably wouldn't have affected much. Wish I could play boardgames with Damien though, this is my favorite one too!

I always imagine this game as having a lighting crew following the characters just out of sight, with the monsters as stunt performers in foam rubber costumes and the occasional travel mug of coffee accidentally left on the set.
