Dr. Weiss, it's coming up on 3 years since I found out about my husband's betrayal. We're doing really good, but, he still looks at other women. I tell him that's still infidelity to me, to God. It just puts me right back in my anger again. Am I unreasonable to call him out when he looks?

Almost 4 yeas from d-day for me. This is just my opinion, but unfaithfulness comes from the heart, if their heart changes their behavior changes.... if he is still "looking" in a way that makes you feel uncomfortable, (and you can tell the difference) its not just a glance... then he is in the wrong. I haven't seen my husband "look" since his betrayal. He has every sign that his heart is truly changed. He was a jerk about that all of our married years, he didn't really care if it bothered me. He is totally a different person now. He surrendered and gave his heart to Jesus Christ and now bears the fruit of a changed heart. God bless you

When he admits to looking at a girl, he says it's meaningless, that he doesn't ever lust. He rarely admits. He tells me I'm imagining things. Ugh. It's so frustrating. Anyway, he's agreeing to go through the ebooks and videos that Dr. Weiss attached. That's a step forward. I can't imagine getting divorced at 60, but I'll do it if he can't control himself. 🙏
I’ve listened to so many betrayal videos. Maybe the problem is that mom, the wife has this list of things she still has to do in life and the man isn’t picking up his part because I never hear list list for him: you will have to function, pick up the kids from school, pay the bills, cook dinner, fix yourself up so you can compete in the world against the other women, walk the dog, clean the house, do the laundry. The imbalance of these responsibilities causes a lot of the other issues. While mom is slaving to take care of everything at home dad is playing around.
This is what im going through. My husband emotionally abandoned me whilst i needed him. Turned out he would choose porn rather than spending time to connect with me. Its months after. We have worked through a lot but i caught him looking at women the other day in the street and it feels like hes moved from porn to that. I am spiralling into anger again. He rejected me last night making me now feel what is the point in me trying to open up to him and trust him again. He doesnt understand only pays lip service to it.
