My 2nd try of breeding seemed to be success. I got almost 200 frys. Thanks to Dexter and Howie. I combined my learnings from your videos though the breeding tank preparation was omitted because my female seems like to love the male so i just throw her into the male betta's tank then they breed. Fortunately they produced a lot of fry. It would have been more fry if they breed in a bigger tank. Thanks to both of you guys, Howie and Kuya Dexter, because your both video tutorial helps newbie a lot. 👍👍👍
Sheng Shala never tried po since sa bettas po di kami nagamit ng filter, all we do os water change them on a regukar basis whether everyday 30 percent or 70 percent every 2 days...

color and tail types does not matter as long as there is a female and a male betta of the same specie they will breed.. But if you are going tp join shows or competitions and wanted to improve a certain breed, color will matter depending on your preferred category..

Hi! first of all they have to be compatible with each other meaning that when they flare they do it gracefully with each other and no one of them is getting scared, next the signs of readiness for females is when they get big bellies and their ovipositor protrudes out, while the male makes his own bubble nest in his tank
Robert i would suggest both, but ketapa leaf has more benefitial elements and it makes more natural than styrofoam, but both works i have tried both...
The female betta is bigger than the male i owned, however it is pregnant. i have introduced them together but the female keeps flaring at at the male most of the time. its been 8 hours, will they breed?
Nicolas Tan most of the time the male should be bigger than the female for the male to properly embrace the female and fertilization will happen... I would suggest to leave them alone and not try to peak at them for it will be stressful for them since they get bithered by peaking... And if it fails just search for a bigger male...

Hi bro. Eggy na yung female betta ko, nasa condition din yung make betta ko. All process was followed. I introduced them, then release the female, they chase, dance, and hug. For 36 hours still no egg spawned. Whats the problem with my betta? I really wanted them to be paired because i love the pattern of this betta koi. Please advise. Thanks!
i have three males inside the bottle in a row, notice some bubbles on top of each water, ( just a hobby of having beta) would they be stressed out making bubbles even without putting in female beta?
Jeffs Gmail they would nor be stressed on making bubbles... but if you do not have a tank separator or tank carding between each tanks thats what will make them stressed, bettas should not see each other for a long time or else thwy will flare to each other endlessly making them tired...

depende po kung ano gusto nyong palabasin sir pero kung koi ung betta nya mas maganda kung koi din, sa kulay nlng kayo pumili kung anong gusto nyong palabasin
If you are trying this method, you can feed the pair if you haven't release the female from the chimney yet, during the stage of courtship you can still feed them, but when you remove the chimney you should stop feeding them..

Great video. Just a few things though. How do you transfer the fry to other tanks? do you siphon them? Also, you wait for the female to get loaded before starting the breeding process, or does the female start producing eggs when it sees the male? Third question; bettas prefer hard(alkaline) water, so why the IAL to lower PH?

IAL lowers the pH of the water and was discovered in their natural habitat, however making a water hard rich in some minerals doesnt apply to all bettas, and doensnt occur to all sources of water in different countries... It is safe to use IAL because it is widely used by different aquatic hobbyists..
Pwede bang bumili ng male at female dinkasi nag effect yung iba dahil 1year ang age naka setup na mga gamit ko may tank na daphnia kiti kiti methyline blue at vita gold pero walang aqua care

@@argelmanahan1661 powder na food sir? kung kainin nila sir wala namang problema, magkakaproblema klng naman jan pag di nila kinain at makapollute lang sa water ung mga pagkaing natira.. mostly kc gusto ng fry ng moving live foods un tlga ang best pero pde mo naman itry ang powder, unti untiin mo lang po ang lagay..
