Spoiler Alert: You might not want to watch this video without first seeing the AMAZING movie....and my regrets that the RU-vid upload cut off the last 10 seconds....:(
My tribute to one of the greatest motion pictures of the 20th century, Edmund Goulding's 1939 Warner Bros. film "Dark Victory", which The First Lady of the American Screen, Bette Davis, considered her best performance and favorite of her films.
The mini-movie presentation is set to one of the greatest songs of the 80s, "If You Leave" by Orchestral Manoeuvres In The Dark ("O.M.D."), from the 1986 film "Pretty in Pink".
Both the film and the song are available for INSTANT download on video and MP3 , respectively, at both iTunes and Amazon.com. Please support the entertainment industry by considering a digital purchase!
In honor of loved ones past, I hope that this short video clip captures the magic of "Dark Victory".....
VIVA LA BETTE!!!

Bette davis was everything but ugly..The one who said that was probably blind or had a bad sight .She had a gorgeous smile and lovely cheeks and expressive eyes.

@@frenchieseverine4514 Thats exactly what i have been thinking since the first time i saw pictures and videos of her. Not only her eyes but her cheeks and smile too, i dont think i actually have seen an actress that cute before.

Aw, All about Eve brought me to Ms. Davis but she caught me right in Dark Victory!

he was her secret love thru out her life...she told this on one of her interviews

She should never have left Warners. Without the lighting, Perc Westmore, Max Steiner, the lavish sets, Orry-Kelly Clothes, choice co-stars.... every movie (except All About Eve) ever after became a Bette Davis Movie without the proper lush setting that made her glow.
