Bette Midler calls 'Hello, Dolly' the role of a lifetime

I saw Bette in 2009 in Vegas. I actually didn’t have high expectations because, you know, she’s not so young anymore, blah blah blah. She was FANTASTIC! One of the best shows I’ve ever seen. She made the audience laugh, cry, the songs, the jokes. Truly an icon.

I just love her. I've been a fan since her first album and have seen her in concert 4 times. She is my favorite performer.

I was luckily able to see this show when i was in NYC back in January. Hands down the best show I have ever seen. Bette was absolutely incredible.

I always loved Bette Midler. Her voice, her ability to make people laugh, and her work is just been so diverse and phenomenal. She did recreated the role of Mama Rose in Gypsy on TV many years ago and I felt she did a great job with that role. So Hello Dolly seemed to be just another step into more traditional Broadway roles. I just love her!

Saw Hello Dolly on Aug. 18, 2018! WOW!! The whole show is spectacular and Ms. M was DIVINE!!!! Best show I have ever seen!! Bette owned the stage from the first moment she appeared to the end!! FABULOUS!!! Wish I could have gone back to see it again.

This woman is like wine. Gets better with age. She's stunning, absolutely beautiful. I'm in awe of how she looks.

It is interesting that her "sister" Barbra starred in the Film adaptation...they do look like sisters. Yes, Beaches still causes me to have that ugly cry if only for my dad who believed in me and helped me along the way. What struck me the most in the interview is that Bette and I share the same passion for the song "Stardust". If there is one magical song, it would be this one.
