Wow!!. The drummer in this music video is awesome. LIsten to him "Go to town" on the drums. Bette Midler sounds awesome in this video, but the drummer stole my heart

As impressed as I've been (and having bought the cd for me mum for Christmas already...) I can't escape the feeling that the Smooth McGroove method is either already happening or just around Bette's corner. I mean picture it, a song were Bette is doing ALL the vocals, back up, lead, and all.

What are you talking about? Miss M didn't sing it all on this track. Read the CD's booklet. It's says "Vocals by Shoshana Bean, Missi Hale and Kamilah Marshall".

But that's my point. Having just her layered on top of her is something she should try, and would be good at. I can see the Smooth McGroove method taking off for people who actually HAVE singing talent, you know people like Bette Midler.

GamaScythe Well, Bette does all the vocals in Bei Mir Bist Du Schön, Baby It's You, Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow, It's The Girls and (Talk to Me of) Mendocino. Although her voice is divine, I always like real back up vocalists singing with the singer.
