NOT to defend Bette or her actions at all - Please trust me on this, because I am a Tina fan more than a Bette fan - But I do belive that some of it comes from how her father was, and the fact that she herself said that she is doomed/compulsion to fuck things up/mess them up when she has a good thing... (yeah... I just re-watched the OG TLW again.... and Bette says something like this in the elevator scene with Tina...) BUT, as I said - I am not excusing her of anything, and I am a Tina fan (both as Tina in TLW and LH as a painter!!) but somehow when I saw this elvevator-scene earlier today, and the scene where her father dies (yes... for the n'th teen time....) I tought maybe that was why.... She is broken... She is a mess... She is complicated... She is un-complete... AT LEAST she is this without Tina! Hpoe you understand the point of what I am trying to get to here :)

@@MzChilli1 Thank you for this!! I like that you are passionate about this beloved show. I am such a Tina and LH fan as well. And it bothers me so much seeing Bette hurting Tina like that even with some understanding of her. I just watch the new E7, and I feel the show really focuses on Bette's selfish side and maybe she grows to be someone not the same in the OG TLW? Idk. I hope she can solve her mess and somehow still won Tina back. I do miss the love they share together. It was THE relationship goal.

Anyone who thinks that they are "endgame" just because they look good together in bed really needs to get their head out of their ass. Gaston and Belle were more endgame than these two.

@@donttagmeinyourreply1304 Exactly! Sorry that @TDKiller415 appears to have a bad history with an abuser, but Bette loved Tina, and did the work to be able to make it work in Season 3 of Gen. Q. An abuser would not see any need to change, only a person who loves their person would work on their faults.
